It just like Lincoln and cutting down the cherry tree just that mulberrys will grow as a weed tree and most people want them cut out and poison.

I had one growing up in our backyard growing up. Loved that thing. Many of my neighbors did too, most of them were deliberately cultivated too. Mulberries are great and very good for you. Wish I had said tree here but sadly they tend not to do so well in Utah from my understanding. Birds love mulberries too. Best bird feeder you can own is a mulberry tree. Feed your family, feed the birds, what's not to love about that delicious and nutritional berries?

To eat there just don't keep that why you dont see them in the stores.  

And make preserves. Mulberries, wild raspberrie, and wild gooseberries are what I miss most about Iowa.
