With all the CEO's and financial wizards who flex their prowess on this board, people who presumably have an intricate understanding of economy--that is, the way the goods of the world are shared--it surprises me that practically none of you seem at all interested in how the goods of the world are maintained, ie, ecology. Interesting observation of the mentality of this group. Something quite relevant to many of the more serious issues under discussion. Like...how do men share material goods with women, and how do women nurture the passions and desires of men. And how is this exchange executed, and what value-added good arises from the trade
I pretty much ignore what others are doing on their PC when out in public. Not my business. So, no, I've never seen anyone using TER in a public place that I didn't already know.
As for personal use of TER on my cell, only do so in private. Never let anyone see or know of your participation here, except those you have met that you know are cool
If what you are trying to say is that you'd have to first live in New York, then get run over by a crowd--actually, I guess you mean a series of crowds--then you would wish you could stop looking at other people's shit (the pages on their computer). And THAT would somehow lead you to taking the bus or something. Am I right?
But you're wrong. I frequently use mass transit, and I live on the West Coast. Also, I'd wager that most people did not turn to mass transit to AVOID crowds. Like the popularity of most things, I'd say they found it convenient. No suffering necessary. And, really, it's a good idea.
