come on the board with an alias, and they don't say the politically correct thing, rather they tell a story of "how they see it"!  I realize that they must use an alias... but something kinda tells me, they are the hot gals!  With great skills... or that is just how I see them... maybe I'm wrong, but I bet not.

I think you just find a woman who are sure of themselves and blunt/assertive as a turn on  Maybe the honesty is freshing as long as it is not bashing.  This is not to say they can not be nice.  Any woman can be like this, just certain providers will say what they mean a little more and most of us do not use aliases.

...than we'd care to admit.  I would estimate that less than a one per cent of providers (TER and others) actually post on these boards so we don't know what the vast, vast majority really think of their profession and the men they see.

It's preferable that a provider post under an alias and let her hair down rather than post under her handle so that we can't tell whether she's telling the truth or making herself more appealing to potential clients.

I DO believe that providers who post stuff under an alias are often performing a valuable public service.

Obviously, some lady who wants me to lay down a stack of hundreds for an hour of her time doesn't want me to think horrible things about her. So under her non-alias -- who knows? It might all be marketing.

But under an alias, even if you don't know who, specifically; you at least know a certain point of view is out there.

Similarly, there are posts on here that make me want to type rants until my fingers bleed. I try to refrain from both. Not always successfully, but I do try.

Venting in a co-ed forum about bad clients or raging against some doof and his/her terrible ideas doesn't leave a favorable impression to potential clients. I would hate to think someone would assume I'd be like that during a date! Unfortunately, angry, emotional posts by anyone -- not just providers -- attract and keep more attention than those that are neutral, and since this is a business instead of personal board for me, I can't afford to look like a jerk.

Not that I'd want to look like a jerk anyway, but it's an added motivation.

...learn what not to do or say and become better hobbyists.  Providers will learn they're not the only ones who get the looney tunes.  And it will be cathartic for you.

It feels better -- and makes me feel like a better person -- if I am able to have a discussion and give constructive criticism rather than rant. Plus, rants start threads full of drama, and I have entered into a drama-saving contract with my mother.
