Guys would you pay a deposit to see a provider?the reason I ask is because I paid a deposit to a well reviewed provider but never got to see her I still don’t know what happened I showed up on time but never got a response back when I tried email then text then called I even sent her a private message on Twitter the deposit was 50% of her donations which was 300.00 of the 600.00 I never sent a deposit before and Doubt I ever would again but i want to see her so bad who’s know if the opportunity come again I guess I’m a sucker especially since I always say I won’t pay more then 500.00 a hour!
"how bad you want to see her", but rather a question of "whether you're willing to risk being scammed out of $300 and end up not seeing her at all." I would never pay a deposit for a short session, AND I would never pay a deposit to a provider I'm meeting for the first time. The only time I would (and have a couple of times) pay a deposit is to book an overnight or weekend with a provider I already knew and had seen before, because she has to turn down all other business during that time period in order to take my appointment.
you are asking her to travel a far distance to you, otherwise there is no need for it.
Also, she should be someone you have seen before or have a stellar reputation. That said, I sent a deposit to a provider with a stellar reputation and got bilked, so that is no guarantee either.
Never send a deposit to a girl you're seeing for the first time. It doesn't matter that she has a stellar reputation with others, she must have a stellar reputation with ME, which means I have seen her before.
And, yes, you're right. You are that sucker. You could have saved yourself the trouble if you'd just come here first instead of whining about it now. I would not recommend posting on every regional board, TER Admin might consider it spamming, and posting on the Denver Board is unlikely to do a lot of good, partly because Denver is one of TER's "dead boards" and mainly because it's not her home town. I would suggest you do two things. First off, write a "Rip Off" review with as much detail as you can think of, TER didn't use to allow such reviews if no meeting ever occurred, but they seem to have reversed that policy, for which I commend Admin. Secondly, I would make a post on the Chicago board, letting them know that "one of their own" is ripping people off and hopefully alerted local Chicago guys that even if she isn't trying to scam them out of deposits that she is a thief and should be avoided.

I just did a quick look at this provider and yes she is well reviewed here on TER, even better news is the fact she is listed on P 411. Now please keep in mind I am completely accepting your word that is how things went down between you, if you were dishonest with us you are probably screwed, but P 411 takes their reputation VERY seriously and won't tolerate bad behavior from either providers or clients alike, and no provider (or client) wants to get kicked off of P411, her profile there is most likely VERY valuable to her. My "new" advice is to contact P 411, tell them what happened and they will most likely FORCE her to make things right with you.
I still recommend you also write the review and that you make a stink on the Chicago Board. She has a lot of reviews on TER and most likely will not want the negative attention. Assuming of course that you didn't hold anything back on us of course. I checked her P 411 profile and she has logged in as recently as today, so she is obviously ok and not laid up in the emergency room somewhere. I do find it odd that she does NOT however have a Dallas ad up on P 411 despite her web site stating that she is due to visit here this week.
Good luck and you now have all the tools to deal with this. Please let us know how it turns out.
Hey GaGambler and everyone on this thread I just checked my email and Janelle sent me a message saying she had a terrible experience with another client and that’s why she couldn’t make it she did apologize and asked where can she send me my deposit,thanks to everyone I guess things do work out sometimes!!!
but the fact that you manned up and named her makes all the difference in the world. One of the ladies here probably PM's her that she was getting some bad press over here by keeping the deposit. Glad its working out, but like Nick, I'll reservice final judgment until you say you have received and cleared the funds.
This illustrates the value of reviews in keeping providers honest for clients. A ripoff turns into a refund within 24 hours of exposure. This is the value of TER.
One more thing I have been asked a couple of times to send a deposit but never did I just thought that since she had stellar reviews she would be okay plus her pictures had me thinking with my small head and not my big head
I keep seeing these scam reports without the name of the provider(well, scammer) being mentioned. Especially when the claim is they are "well reviewed."

Provider POV with caveat that TS gals have to deal with more potential cases of cold feet-itis (aka nsnc).
I have my safety/security screening practices with new clients and at times I decide a good faith deposit is in order to final confirm appointment. In those instances I usually also permit alternative of their giving me reference to verify with another provider, which of course with hobbyist newbie isn't viable for them.
One situation where need for deposit/reference can be a deal breaker on my end, is outcall to a private residence for a new client. Early in my career I drove out to Thousand Oaks only to realize upon arrival in his 'hood that the mook was trying to spoof me into knocking on neighbor's door at 1am (and let the hilarity ensue for this tgirl).
No hard feelings when potential client balks at deposit since its just case of a lack of meeting of the minds and so the deal is not consummated

Have heard that some well known other providers occasionally pull this especially since the start of this pandemic which I guess makes people do screwy things....
That's why under NO circumstances will I ever send one for anything! Not a deposit for an over night or no matter how well I know them or not!
You should come out about this especially if its been more than a couple days & provider has gone silent in you! Unless its a life & death situation if sincere would of done the right thing already!!
There is always a slight chance something seriously went wrong on her end BUT its small if you already were on your way.
I would ABSOLUTELY personally mention the name on this board & local board as well. She will reach out & do the right thing if it's seriously "a miscommuncation" l
Otherwise you aren't doing yourself or others a service with any of this!! Not going to knock someone when they are down but DUDE you have to do the right thing & LEARN from this!

I had great intentions of seeing a well know provider out of Philly everything seems great yet when she asked me to send deposit for it was through CashApp which I didn’t have then out of the blue she stated you can sent it Venmo. Here is where I knew I was screwed I sent the deposit $150 and then she claims minutes later she didn’t receive it could I sent it to CashApp. Ok, I’ve Venmoed enough to know if I am sending it to correct recipient they get it. Couple minutes pass and we are good for our visit. And like similar situations as mentioned above crickets yet this was AFTER 2 excuses to postpone our date. Finally she said she would refund the amount. She used the sick kid excuse so I said just send me $1 back. NOTHING. Guys I’m putting link out there and have txt proofs she’s a fraud. The only thing I got out of it were outdate vids. Email me if you need proof.
All for nothing but kudos to you for having the courage to come out! Hopefully this will not only warn other hobbyists but also help come to some sort of resolution to getting your $$ back as slim as it it is!
Remember for a lot these providers this is their lively hood so this will absolutely hurt their business! Seems unfortunately more legit ladies are doing this & its puzzling.
Fyi would steer clear w/ these payment apps.. paypal, cash app, zelle, venmo, Apple, Google pay etc as they not only do they get all your personal info but they ARE NOT hobby friendly. Both parties can get flagged & everything is lost!
Not smart of any of us or the providers on their end!
