A lot of SWs are leaving Twitter behind and doing their social media advertising on BlueSky instead. Are there any clients here who actively browse BlueSky for SWs, and have you met any for a session?

I have a profile on Bluesky and followed some people. But I stopped paying attention after about a week. It's just not big enough for me to care to check it on top of everything else. Maybe it will get there, but until it does, I'm not interested.

My account is a personal one connected to friends, family, work colleagues. This includes following big names like Mark Cuban. I have a network with over 100. Which in itself isn’t bad if they were active. But many did what I did. Created an account and didn’t spend much time on it.

You are soliciting opinions from a forum that is open to literally anyone. If you make a post, anyone can respond whether you want them to or not. It's not our fault if you don't like the responses or opinions you get. You don't get to pick and choose. Its all or nothing, and if you're going to post here you have to take the good with the bad. This really shows the flavor of these boards.  The question from the OP was fair enough but like you said, fair game to any and all to respond.  RR responds with his thoughts and the OP melts down with a ridiculous demand that he stay away from what was REQUESTED of him, an opinion!

You don’t know the past interactions that I’ve had with that person. You and 420smoke are only seeing this exchange and assuming that I’m shutting down an innocent poster for no reason at al, when the reality is that this person has made SEVERAL distasteful remarks to me and I don’t care to hear from him again. You are participating in a public forum. By its very nature, that means you don’t have the ability to control who chooses to respond to your posts. Some posters will annoy you. That is just a given here.

There are really only two ways to handle that situation: 1) respond or 2) ignore. If necessary, you can also make use of TER’s “ignore” feature, which will keep certain members posts invisible to you. While I personally haven’t found a need to use it, I know others find it very helpful.

I genuinely hope you will continue posting. I love a diversity of viewpoints. That said, the solution you are asking for i.e. limiting who can reply to you, isn’t realistically compatible with how an internet chat site like TER functions.

You can use the #oursky feed and also look at #date[yourcity]. It’s not as easy as the X algorithm push, but it’s doable! You can also look up accounts for a few of your favorite local providers and then see who they interact with.

Some people add no value here on TER and are complete fools. I unblocked everyone at the beginning of the year, but I had to ignore two specific top posters who cant seem to stfu. It's so annoying to see that they have to comment on everything even when it does not pertain to them.
