This is a pretty interesting video. But I can't help but notice how it magnifies stereotypes.

Family ties have a very strong history in Japan, so I think the anti-family trend that this video focuses on is an aberration that will turn around in less than a generation, but as aberrations go, it's a pretty good one.

Also, sex work in Japan has a very long tradition, so that is nothing new either.

I am intrigued by the ear cleaing with Q-tips thing.  Any gal interested?
