But, first, a law suit won't go anywhere. She lost no money. It would be a nuisance suit. Not to say a lawyer wouldn't take it just to put his name out there. It's good advertising. So, they're beating down her door telling her it's possible.
Second, the media is following her around now. With a woman who looks like that, they're trying to find a way to keep her in the news. So, they asked her if she's going to sue no less than 500 times till she gave them the answer they wanted.
Southwest Airlines didn't like the way she dressed and tried to throw her off. She it's good that she fought it and won, but not before the chaperons, um, flight attendants lectured her about the proper way to dress, like she was going to a high school dance.
I'd pay more to be on a flight with her dressed like that. I might even book a different destination. When is her return flight? San Diego, here I come!

hey,, if I had her figure, damm skippy I would dress like that, lol
Insane! What ever happened to Southwest being the fun airline to fly? I've sat next to girls with much shorter skirts on flights before.
Where the fuck do these assholes get off lecturing her about proper dress?
That Southwest even brought this up......or that Ms. Ebbert is considering a lawsuit?
The universe continues to spin outta control.....

Speaking of the media, CNN ran a segment on this story last night ; they unearthed a 1972 Southwest Airlines commercial showing a stewardess ( as they were called back then ), dressed in a skirt shorter than the babe who was just thrown off the plane ! Talk about hypocrisy ! When Larry Craig leaves the Senate, he should take a job running Southwest----LMAO !
It underscores what news really is these days. It also shows teasing and enticement, but not actual sex, is accepted for the larger cause of earning cash.
As for the way it was done in 1972, it was a totally different culture, then. Businesses were allowed to tease and entice just as much, but didn't have to disguise it as news.
there may be statutory penalties for common carriers.
You'd be the expert on that.
SWA has a knack for screwing up its policy enforcement. If they didnt like her outfit they shoulda said something before she was seated. BTW that racks' got a shiny new look to it. Bet thats what her Dr appointment was about, a follow-up visit. Hooters will probably ride the publicity and put her in their next calendar.
"A woman is almost thrown off an airplane." Yawn. "Because they didn't like the way she dressed." Yawn. "She's a blond Hooter's girl with a phenomenal figure." Run it!!!
It's my contention that during the Cold War, the Soviets, unbeknownst to all, denonated a series of "stupid bombs" in the US,tthe effect of which is to drive down the average intelligence and common sense of the American public [with some unfortunate consequnces for collective taste as well -- how else can we explain the popularity of things like gangster rap and actors like Bruce Willis and elected leaders like Dubya?]
It's [or at least was] common practice for snooty restaurants to provide jackets and ties for male patrons who arrive less-than-suitably attired. Could not the flight crew have have shown some iniative and common sense and scrounged up a raincoat for this young lady to wear during the flight? I'm sure if they canvassed the male passengers, at least one gallant would have been able, nay, eager to assist this young lady.
Well, at least the flight was still ON the ground.
After the interview concluded they were doing the usual wrap up discussion amongst the hosts and one of the female hosts mentioned that maybe it's what she wasn't wearing under the skirt that could have been the problem. That topic never came up during the interview, so who knows.
I did notice that during the interview when she sat down after showing what she was wearing on the plane, there was a clear shot of her beaver (wearing white panties).
I wish the airlines would adopt such stern policies when it comes to babies screaming at the top of their lungs on the plane!!
There was another report about a lady and her tshirt not being allowed to board.
The t-shirt said, "the liver is evil and must be destroyed." It was an advertisement for alcohol and someone got offended. LOL!

Well, the way the seats are set up on the plane, no one could possibly have seen her panties. And if they could, so what?
on southwest flight phoenix to vegas and the stewardess actually pointed it out to the other passengers and made a joke about it.
really surprised that any airline would have a problem with her outfit and especially southwest as i believed it to be the most lax.
We are so fucking repressed that we can't handle the sight of a young, beautiful woman with a killer figure in public without thinking that everyone who sees her will cum in their pants?
Give me a fucking break!
She's a lovely girl, and as such, has certainly earned the right to wear such flattering clothes. The only reason women think twice about dressing that way is in fear of what society will say, or call them (like slut or whore). Well folks, here is a clear example of that. How humiliating for her to be punished for looking so fabulous. So sad.
yeah if only they'd police the local walmarts like that..
theres about 30 women dressed like that in every one of them
but i guess its ok if your fat rolls hide any chance of ever showing your panties.
Next time I fly Southwest, I'm going to wear the same thing as an act of protest! Let's see them throw ME off the plane!
(BTW, that photo is being immediately filed away in the Spank Bank.)

LOL, I can hope at least right? Although I bet Playboy and others aren't a longshot. On her myspace page it lists Jenna Jameson as her hero and an income of $40,000/year as a student and hooters girl. Riiight.....maybe she will do playboy, then porn, then become a providor. She's seems to like the attention so who knows. Her profile also says she likes going to parties and "hooking up". She sounds fun.
It sounds like a bit of a jealousy thing to me.
Ok, I'm going to be the stick in the mud here just to play devil's advocate :o )
I saw this news item yesterday, in the news story on AOL, it made a few things clear that aren't clear in the story posted here. First, they showed clips of her sitting down, and she had to hunch over just to keep from showing of her panties (or lack thereof for all we know) even when her legs were crossed.
Second, the clips you are seeing are of her AFTER she pulled the t-shirt down, and the mini skirt down, so we can infer that apparently, while on the plane her extremely short skirt was even shorter than what we see on the news clip.
From a business stand point, this is kind of a no-brainer. If Southwest loses 10 customers because of the young lady's display, that is worse for business than losing her business because they asked her to adjust her clothing. Of course, now its national news, so who knows what impact this will have now.
All that aside though - I wouldn't kick her off a plane, nor a train, nor even in rain. I would just tell her thanks so much for the smile she brought to my face - and the naughty thoughts that went along with it :o )
God, I'd like to find out what airline she transfered to.
About implications for losing business - I've seen a LOT of posts on other websites, where people are outraged and now refuse to fly on SW. This could end up costing them more than it saved.
raining then she would have a wet t-shirt and that would improve her appearance even more. AC on a plane combined with a wet t-shirt would probably make her nips stand at attention.
I fly SWA often and will be looking for her.
I don't see the big deal she is young and pretty and has the body to dress like that. I bet the male flight attendent was gay.
would be jealousy.
I think that since 9/11, the airlines have turned into Nazis. They don't want you wearing belts or shoes with nails in them, nor carrying nail clippers, and sure not wearing skirts as short as the ones they used in the 70s.
Does anybody else think Osama is laughing his ass off in a cave somewhere?
Did anyone else catch this quote at the end of the linked article?:
"Her outfit is fine," Michele Ebbert said. "She looks like every other college girl in San Diego."
If she is representative of the average in San Diego, I am looking at real estate advertisements in the area!
On a college campus, that is very mild!
