I know this subject has been discussed over and over again. But I was wondering if i could get some of the gents input.

I have some pretty good reviews here on TER. A couple are mediocre at best...but then again no one is perfect. But there are a couple that are just plain fiction.

My first question to you gents would be....how much stock do you put in reviews when It comes to booking a provider? To be honest, no two of my dates are the same. For the very simple reason is that all the gents are so different. Different temperments, attitudes, likes and dislikes. Whether you turn me on with your intelligence, your wit, your overall outlook on life has alot to do with how romantic or how raunchy our date will be.

I have a couple of reviews that describe services I just don't provide. One, I don't jump in the shower when I get there. To be honest I take great care and pride to make sure my appearence is what my gents are hoping for, classy and elegant. The second, I do not provide greek services, and that is for a variety of reasons.

I have two reviews that describe such sessions and I know for a fact they did not happen. And maybe this is where I am wrong, but I havent bitched about it. I have just asked the gents who write to me what it was about my reviews that compelled them to want to see me. And there have been times I have had to tell them, I am sorry but I don't provide those services. For the most part the guys have been very understanding.

My other question...Im sorry I know this is getting winded...but my reviews keep popping up with the same phrase..."Lass is a BBW BUT she is beautiful" LOL What does that mean? I am honestly curious on this one. I have seen many beautiful BBW sites but it seems that most guys assume that being a BBW makes you somewhat less than attractive. I have no misconceptions about my body and I know it doesn not attract alot of men. But I am fortunate there are those who do find me attractive despite my dress size. So often when a gent writes to me I will ask if he has seen my site. If he says no I will direct him there and a couple of times they have responded back with "Im sorry I didnt realize you were a BBW, it's just not for me". To me this is gracious and I am always happy they tell me beforehand.

I have tried to be very honest about myself on my site. No i dont give measurements out side my bra size but I think you can tell that I am no frail flower.

So if you managed to get thru this post without falling asleep...LOL, I would honestly like to know what you gents think. Are reviews a big deciding factor when seeing a lady, and what is your standard of beauty? Is it purely physical? And what would make you break out of the norm and see someone different.

I believe that since the term BBW came into being that a woman of larger size has found a way to make themselves believe they are the middle B in BBW and most men have found the term to not be accurate.  I agree. Not all large women are beautiful or pretty just as all small or *average size  women are not beautiful or pretty. We can see from your pictures that you indeed are a beautiful larger woman. Why we as larger women even need to be labled I can't figure out. There are a million reasons that make men and women attractive to each other.

I am just glad that there are those men who enjoy our soft round curves and are not judgemental and can look at out photos and see what they are attracted too. I love it when I hear "I don't want a skinny woman."

Very thoughtful and well written.  I absolutely choose my company based upon reviews, but will not let one or two mediocore reviews overly affect my choices.  I will not see someone who has only one review.  The second part of your question is tougher.  I was raised by a family of very over weight women who were always pretty unhappy over their size.  I am sure that there are many very happy BBW's but my personal experience belies it.  I like them thin and small breasted - the closer the bone, the better the meat.

There was a recent thread on this board that addressed posts that were, for whatever reason, inaccurate.  The provider was worried that that one very poor review was too outstanding even though she had numerous good reviews.  I will tell you what I told her.  Those "bad" reviews only serve to invalidate the reviewer, not the provider.  I am a firm believer in researching reviews, especially when visiting a city.  I look at all reviews going back about 8 months (none earlier because people do change), and I will tell you that I look for consistency (by that I mean that 8's, 9's and 10's on TER mean the same to me, tempered by personal preferences).  You have 12 reviews, 9 of which are 8,9, and one 10.  The other 3 are 7's, which are also good.  If I saw one or even two lesser reviews, I would discount them as either erroneous, or as written by a reviewer that was angry or just a plain ass.  I have seen some reviews where a writer will give a provider, say a 5 or 6 in performance, then say that she would have been given an 8 or 9 if her looks were better (whatever "better" means).  I believe that TER should be adjusting these reviews because of their unfairness to the provider.  Those reviewers did not follow guidelines, and should have rated looks where looks rating belong.  I try to be careful about that, but then again for me looks are secondary, in a sense. If a reviewer posts inaccurate information about what happened in the session, I guess you could post a complaint to TER, and I guess that if they get enough complaints about one member they should do something, but who knows if they do?

As far as your BBW comments are concerned, I do what you are asking about.  That is to state that a provider may be BBW (which, by the way is not a real problem for me as I am probably classified as a BBM ), but indicate what physical and MENTAL attributes make this provider so attractive.  My best review to date has been of a voluptuous (MUCH better term!) woman, who simply turned me on beyond anything I was able to imagine before our date.  Yes, there are men out there that require waifs, or hardbodies, or silicon tits, or whatever, and that is what makes this PC a great tool.  I wouldn't worry too much, Lass.  Your reputation is great, your reviews are impeccable, and BTW, you are a beautiful lady.

Now, I'll apologize to you and hope this post didn't put you to sleep.

It has happened to all of us.  The staff here are kind of slow about researching the reviewer but they will take the usual steps to get the review accurate.  Sometimes nothing will be done but if you stay on them, they will usually delete the review.

I think you should be commended for being honest. The guys can check your website and decide for themselves. Everyone has their own taste. I think honest reviews are what make the system work. I look for those that provide what I am looking for and avoid those that don't. Honesty is what it is all about on both sides. Come on guys - give the ladies a break. Tell it like it is, but don't downgrade them just because they don't fit your exact standards. Your 7 may be someone else's 10!

I think that there is something important here.

Like others, I look for consistancy in reviews.  I do read the ones that stand out from the norm to see if I get a sense of "just didn't click" or was there a true inconsistancy in the provider such as rude behavior?  I also look for trends.  I think that I often see steady improvement over time when there are longitudinal reviews, but then sometimes I get the feeling that a provider has maxed out a few months ago.

What drives me nuts is the inaccuracy that is so common.  I have seen reviews where it was noted that the provider was a non smoker and it turned out to be not the case.  That pisses me royally and so now I always ask. You wrote about not doing Greek yet there it was in a review or two.  I read that in a review, and especially if it appears in a second review, and I figure that it might be available even if 'yes' doesn't appear in the form portion under 'anal'.  Yet I feel that I can't ask over the phone or in an e-mail specifically about that because some providers state that any such open discussion about specific acts will be met with a hang up or no e-mail response.

So yes, I read the reviews and yes, they make an impression.  I think that you should try to have them changed or removed if they are clearly fiction.

With regards to BBW, anyone who reads your reviews here and doesn't go to your site is an idiot.  If they go to your site and don't get it...what can I say?  Don't worry about those guys, pitty them.

Oh, can I interest you in quiting smoking?  You'll taste better .

As a TER VIP Member, I consult the reviews every time I am seeking a provider.  Therefore, the more accurate the reviews are, the better they work.  As for false reviews, you should report them to Staff.  The person who posted the false review has no right to play with someone else’s profession.  They are a fraud and should not be allowed to post.  The chances are also good they are doing it for free VIP time.  Either way, for your sake and mine, please report them to staff.

In regards to being BBW, that is not my cup of tea, and I would not be interested in a provider who is.  However, I respect the girl who upfront with that kind of information.  Things go much better when you get what you were expecting.  I have been with providers who have been somewhat less than beautiful.  They were honest with their pics and did not attempt to mislead me.  Therefore when I wrote the review, I never mentioned appearance, because it was not part of the service.  If the girl really tried to please, she will get a good review from me.  That is not misleading; it is just my honest opinion of the service I received.  Thank you for your post and the best of luck to you in all your future endeavors, ACE

beyond what has already been provided except that I look at "trending".  I don't put any stock in a particular review but try to see the general flow of the reviews.  Did the customers leave happy?  If so, and if what the provider offers (based on her menu on her web site -- not what the reviews say she offers) meets with what I am looking for, then I would think I should have a good time with her.   It's very rare that I see a woman that has not been reviewed on TER; I have done it but it's like throwing dice.

Reviews do come into play in my decisions as do pictures on a web site.  One or two bad reviews aren't going to chase me off.  You have to look at the tone of it.  I've written some that ended up with lower numbers than I would have assigned.  Some guys reviews are short and worthless for the most part.  I've noticed more and more of this type lately.  One of the best SP's I found had few but mediocre reviews.  I'm not into anything really kinky so I've yet to have many huge disappointments in that area.  I do really prefer bbbj and that is sometimes a hassle to find out if it is available.  Above all, be up front about appearance, fees and services.  Don't hint that you do or hide behind a term like GFE and let us guess what is on the menu.  I think that is what upsets us guys more than anything.  We go in expecting something looks or service wise and end up disappointed or worse, pissed off.

I would think there are allot of ladies who would die for your reviews Lass.  

We all hate reading our reviews, that's to be certain.  It's like going to the boss on a daily basis to get yesterdays report LOL.  

It's just a matter of the guys educating themselves enough to find the right fit.  If you weren't doing your part to keep this process going, you'd see reviews with 5's for looks from those that prefer a more toned bod.  

Looking at your reviews, I think I'll start tauting myself as a BBW *giggle*.

for the compliments...but I have never looked at my business as "keeping up" with anyone but myself. To be sure, being a BBW covers a very small are of the market, but I always try and put my best face forward and always keep a level of professionalism that I look for in my other aspects of life.

I don't hate reading my reviews..quite honestly I love to read what my gents perspective is of the time we are together. There have been times when I thought that maybe my date was not as thrilled with our time as I was, and then I read my review and realize, that I was just being hard on myself and he had a great time. It is just the fictional parts that make me cringe. And I want to thank everyone for their kind, well thought out responces. I have always appreciated and respected the gents out there who can say they do not prefer a woman of my stature and still do it with respect. Thank you once again.
