"...and besides I was sick of his saggy balls wrinkly ass skin liver spots and old man smell... But I cared enough to do the right thing"

I kid. (Just joking).
Never, never have I seen I thread telling of a provider struggling to save her favorite client from his nasty ways and a life of womanizing and whoremongering. Did I miss that thread? Was that issue totally resolved before I joined TER?
Of all the imbalances between the providers and hobbyists that we discuss here, this imbalance seems the greatest.
Has ANY man EVER had a relationship with a provider where she tried to change his ways and settle down with her?
Has ANY provider EVER tried to save her client from a life of mongering?
There are plenty of stories of wheeler-dealers "saving" their ladies from squandering all their hard-earned cash by coercing them into investing their profits in the hobbyist's personal fund for 10% commission, usually taken out in trade, and that's not the type of "save a ho" I'm talking about. But...maybe providers have similar scams set up to "save" their client from squandering his money on other women. So, I'd like to hear about that kind of saving, too.

they know what you are when you walk in the door - unlike most hobbyists who tend to romanticize pay for fucking way too much
there are few if any white knight providers - they know exactly what they are doing and how to push our buttons lol
but there are a ton of mongers who apparently have no clue....
There are lots of threads posted by guys who apparently want to save the provider from her occupation. I'd like to know if there are providers who ever attempt to save clients from the life of a monger. Long & short.
Or have fallen for a client and wanted him to give up visiting "other women."
Or...variations on a theme?
Ok, I get it now.
That's a good question actually and I don't know because I've never tried nor even though of it. I have, however, tried to encourage them in their decision and be supportive.
Like, I've heard some bartenders refusing to serve someone who's falling-down drunk, but I've yet to hear one counsel anyone to join AA and live a sober life. Still, I'm sure such conversations do happen.
I for one don't need saving. Did it occur to you that the reason that discussion hasn't taken place, is that we hobbyists do this willingly? I mean c'mon we pay for it. This life is soooo much better than the alternative of having to put up with all the drama and bullshit just to get laid. It is sooo much easier and less stressful to pay for it directly, get to fuck women who would otherwise not give you a second look and because you read their reviews you have a good idea if the do the things you like.
It really is a fucking perfect arrangement. Last night for instance, went to Twin Peaks for dinner on the way to an appointment, got my eye full of hot women that I couldn't have, then went and spent 2 hours with a delightful, young, sexy, beautiful woman who rocked my fucking world and sent me back to my hotel room with rubber band legs and a big smile.
Life is good in the Hobby.
Depends on whose full stomach I'm on, of course. But seriously, fasting for at least twelve hours seems to work out best for me. Juice and small amounts of fruit, I might do that. Maybe a protein drink or a smoothie a few hours before the session starts.
This Q has a familiar ring to it. Kind of reminds me of:
"Your thoughts if any?
No disrespect meant. Some may have no thoughts at all that are pertinent to the topic. There are plenty of topics posted here that evoke no special thought or opinion from me.
Perhaps it would be clearer asking, "Your pertinent thoughts on this topic are welcome." Would you find that less offensive?
married a provider. He said she'd given him so many "passes" to hobby but once they were gone, that was it. I seem to remember he used them up pretty quickly. So kinda what you're referring to. In a way.
Man, I wonder what those would go for on E-bay.

I think I know who you are referring to. If memory serves, he met her on the sunny side of the street and only discovered that she was a provider durung the initial stages of forming a relationship.
