On a recent date, the provider commented that I look "different from your photo"; she was referring to my profile on the verification site that I used to contact her. Well, I told here that I do not use photos; she quickly logged on and confirmed that - indeed - it was another client (I stood away, facing the back side of the screen, in case you are wondering). No harm, no foul...

like emailed photos after the appt is set but before we meet.  It's not a requirement, but it one, helps me recognize him when I arrive at the bar or restaurant where we are to meet.  And two, it gives me a face to go with our pre-date correspondence.  This helps me visualize whom I'm communicating with and helps me visualize all the wonderfully nasty things I'm going to do to and with him

I didn't ask, but he sent it to me in his intro e-mail. My guess is because he was truly strikingly handsome and thought he'd have a better chance of getting an appointment. I was available, so it didn't matter anyway. But, you know darn well I was REALLY looking forward to meeting him. lol

presumptions based on a photo- one being that they must not be married, another being that they must not be very high profile in their community. Neither of which affect my choice to see someone. So a photo is definitely irrelevant. But sometimes a photo gets me excited to see someone. I have a delicious friend who has a photo on a screening site, and it's definitely a good thing. It's an athletic photo so it could be anyone (you can't see facial features or the shape of his face), but it lets me know he's athletic, outgoing, fun, etc. And the photo most definitely matches his personality.

I appreciate your intent!  But it assumes that a persons appearance has the power to either make me uneasy or to put me at ease...and this concept is a little strange to me.  Maybe I am the exception, but I couldn't give a hoot what you look like!  I mean, if your physical configuration requires some special considerations (injury, extreme weight issues, massive cock size, etc) then sure, check in to make sure I can provide what you need.  But your appearance says nothing about desirability as a client; you could be hot as fuck AND the douchiest dude ever, right?  It is the attitude you communicate through your emails that puts me at ease.

To each their own Mimi as I say.. You have your choices.. other ladies think differently... Everyone is different.. For some it's puts them more at ease as I have been thanked for sending personal tasteful pics. I figure by sending them it shows I am what I am and with my intro email I try to show I am a decent an safe person who has sincere interest in meeting and not out wasting time.. What lady takes from that I cannot control... If she is not interested.. Oh well her loss and I move on..

Yes, based upon the replies contributed by other ladies in this thread, my thinking is definitely not the norm!  We do all seem to agree that sending pics with an introduction is a rare occurrence, and - should it happen to me again in the future - I promise I will try to respond with a little more warmth.  

Yes I know that my sending my pics is rare but it's been very welcomed in the past too.. Some have used them as part of a screening process.. Eases the Uncle Leo concerns esp. since I include several. Yes, I doubt a married man would send pics but I have the joy of the unattached single life with zilch to hide or be concerned about..
