Herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia can all be passed orally...HPV can be spread orally...HIV if there are open sores in the mouth of the recipient and the giver has HIV and there is fluid exchange...yeast can also be passed.  

Search CDC or other reputable health sites...or better yet, ask a health care professional for complete, accurate info.  Asking people that are NOT health professionals may result in inaccurate responses or half truths.

One of the worse you can catch is hepatitis from vaginal fluid from an infected lady with  hepatitis. You can also get hepatitis from a lady when if she is infected on her period.

Your chance of getting an STD is low but there are some STDs that need to be considered.

HIV or STD can't really survive/be transmitted in saliva. So it basically requires open sores/cuts in the given area(s) for it to happen.

May be the wrong forum but I've read a lot of misinformation about STD transmission on this site; there are many uninformed people here with regard to STDs.

DATY and BBBJ have many risks as redhot indicated; herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis are all possible through unprotected oral sex. It is not "safer" sex, but there seems to be a level of tolerance, both from providers and clients, to accept the risks and partake. Just know there are risks involved. Even using condoms, things like herpes and warts are possible, and most cases of herpes are transmitted when the "giver" has no visible symptoms.

Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but the risks are there you just have to be willing to accept the risks.
