I have had many guys chicken out of seeing me on the first try. One comes to mind actually. ;-) As long as you gave ample notice you're ok sweety. The guys that chickened out gave it another try and never looked back after that. Just make sure you want to begin at all.

I must have too much flipping time on my hands.  I was re-reading a thread I had posted nearly 3 years ago the day before session:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=235469&boardID=12&page=346

I was married at that time and trying to survive a sexless marriage.  That marriage is now over and I am now with someone new.  My situation is very different.  I have a stronger emotional connection and I can have sex pretty much whenever I want now but with all this said I find myself being drawn back to the hobby.  And, this time I find myself thinking that there is a Dark Side to my chosen activity and this time I am really crossing over.  I just mean I have love, happiness ~ but it’s not enough.  I want more (what’s my fucking problem).

For me, it seems once the gennie has been released from the bottle it’s pretty damn hard to get it back in.  Unlike several years ago I seem to be struggling much more with the ethical implications of cheating.  So much so, I literally psyched myself out of recent session and ended up cancelling (with notice).  Yes, you can say it BROCK BROCK - I chickened out!

Have you ever chickened out, had your conscience get the best of you, and canceled a session?  Any advice would be appreciated as I don’t like the feathered look.

If your conscience says stop -- then stop!

Look -- you have a great gig going, don't mess it up unnecessarily. If you do, you'll regret it.

... there was one helluva fight! (*grin*) ;-)

At a Lexus dealership I used to service. He was talking about when he was younger and used to fight a lot. Said one time he had 2 black eyes, and this other guy side 'you had black guys?!'

Guess you had to be there... ;)

..I drove up to the motel she was using for Incall and the hair on the back of my neck stood up.   I did a couple of laps around the parking lot looking for anything that looked even remotely like an unmarked police car or paddy wagon and coudln't see anything. Regardless, I drove off.

It just didn't feel right and the most remote feeling that I was walking into a sting was enough for me to take a pass.

And I make no apologies.

I think most of us who have hobbied for any length of time and/or have done any TOFTTing have "chickened out" when things didn't smell right. I know I have on more than one ocassion.

I think the OP was talking about feeling guilty for fucking around on a SO, and having an attack of consccience at the last moment. My take on this is that if you are feeling any pangs of guilt, you probably shouldn't be doing this. Personally, I am not cheating on anyone, so the question doesn't apply to me. On the relatively rare ocassions that I find myself in love with someone, I don't have any desire to cheat in the first place, but thats just me. I can't, nor do I pretend to speak for others.

Absolutely bro; when I am in a relationship I don't hobby. Don't have the need too. The hobby serves a purpose and I used it wisely.

I "chickened out" for 20 years.  Great life, great wife.  Now I am back.  Who knows how long.  It serves a good purpose.

Highly reviewed..I had researched for months..She is retired and off TER so I can't mention her name..I can say she is beautiful EuroAsian..Anyway after a few emails and hours of reading TER do's and dont's, I had everything down how I was supposed to act ..When I made final call before I arrived she asked me if I knew donation was $$$$?  I wanted to say ....well I'll keep that to myself, but I knew what the donation was, and I broke into a sweat thinking  I was going into a sting.
I almost bailed out but I had so much time invested in research and she was my first I figured I would go for it..
I was very covert and discrete when dropping the donation, she didn't see it..I also acted like she was my GF and went straight for the program with no talk. When I was leaving  she asked if I forgot something.. I looked puzzled, and still not sure if the hidden cameras were rolling, I asked her if she put that money on the desk over there for me. She said No, and I left.
