Everything we do has an element of risk attached. Sure, there is risk in DATY as there is risk in cheating on your SO.

Which risk is worse? Who knows.

I think mitigating risk without crushing the fun should be the goal, at least for me.

I always wear the rub for fs, but not when I daty or receive a BJ.

As for risks about STD's, don't get that from a bunch of know nothings on a fk board.  

Google is your friend and look at the CDC's responses to these questions and make your own determination.

Risk assessment is huge on our little island but you have to be responsible and live within the risk you can tolerate.

And although there are risks for every sexual act, they each have to be weighed for each individual. Everybody has different comfort levels when it comes to hobbying. Covered DATY is not optimum for me, but if a provider insisted on it I would comply.

If you are uncomfortable doing it, then omit it from your sessions.  Simple enough.

Don't bring gifts is the solution.

My experience

I have done DATY with probably 100 providers over the last few years.  (DATO as well with at least half of them.)  As far as I know I am 100% healthy.  Am I taking a chance?  At some level, yes, but I have decided to live with it.

Google is your friend and several STDs are spread easily this way.  

I love to please in a civie date  if I know she hasn't been around the block much but not here. You could be client 10 for the day or arrive minutes after someone else was face deep in that.  If you think every provider showers and cleans up after every client you are out of your mind.  Farging gross and unsafe.  

 I even had several providers tell me though sometimes they do enjoy it, if they were the man there is no way they would be going down on prostitutes
