Even for the living, and that is saying something. :-)  I would say that to several others on this board, but i dont know enough nor am I trying to be politically correct, but I do know  NOSC and G2. :-))  kind people who are visible on this board. And there are of course many others or this race would not survive.   But what does it matter what I say, we live with ourselves finally, and I am not the academy awards nominee judge ... just another person, with my tongue hanging out and wondering.  And  trying to remember that we pass all too quickly.

I did not post this but it is from REDBOOK:
It is true that Faye Desiree passed away tragically in an automobile accident Saturday in Hawaii. Dark Kitty and I felt it would be best to post this now.

I would like to extend a warm hug to those close to Faye and say that she was a wonderful woman, positive, vibrant, and intelligent. Things like this rarely make sense or seem fair. I enjoyed her witty and provacative postings.

I do ask for the time being we respect Faye's family and keep a low profile until her close friends decide on how we shall commemorate her.

Bye Faye.

She was certainly a remarkable lady.

I never actually met her as my schedule and hers were always at odds when I was in the Bay Area, but I had corresponded with her several times. Her warmth, passion and humor just came through crystal clear in her e-mails to me, and I am just stunned.

At least we can all take solace, and perhaps a lesson as well, in the unassailable fact that she lived her far too brief life to the absolute fullest.

This is truly sad. I lived in the Bay Area most of my life until recently moving to SD, but I never got a chance to see Faye (she was a bit far from me) but I can say that I never heard or read a bad word about her.

I wish her family and friends well.

Happy, Joyous and Free. These words are how Faye lived, who she was. God, I will miss her. She truly took a walk on the Wild Side... and realized she was home to stay. I pray she is Joyful in her new place.

A True Lady
Dedicated to Faye Desiree.

How do you remember a life filled by love.

Who touched lives of friends and lovers
and strangers alike
Who took time to listen
And gave compassion with thought.

Who went through trials and tribulations
And  took the ugliest fate
But somehow turned it into a fantastic realm.
A realm where all in need
could raise a voice
       some monstrous in tone
       others, praising purest sentiments.

She was the Queen of this realm,
Fair, understanding, and above all, beloved.

And for being a lantern for the mass to see,
in the end, she came out a True lady.

I have only seen her written voice
Words which echoed her life’s riches and
Resonated the depth of her heart and mind.
Words which gave me my  peace
In the furnace of a troubled time.

But to remember this beautiful life cut short,
I will take what she has given me
And appreciate its wisdom and knowledge.

And just …

Remember.

Dearest  Faye,

Take with you these memories of love and gratitude
From the countless fans and friends to begin your next life cycle.
Wait until they take a look at you. ;)

I read about Faye’s death on BigDoggie.  I could not believe what I read.  Your post has confirmed my disbelief.  This is truly an incredible shock.

My greatest joy was when we were able to diner together after our session.  There I was charmed by her intellect as she shared her hopes, aspirations and desire to successfully build a website business.

Faye lived to the full extent of life.  I will miss her smile, charm, wit and beauty.  I wish those she loved the very best and my condolences during this difficult time.

I never met her either, but enjoyed her posts on this board a lot.  My condolences go out to her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear this. Although I never met Faye, I feel very hurt. Because of  the internet which allowed us to reach people and places we never thought possible, we are still a very close knit community. Just through posting on boards like TER and writing emails, we can feel connected intimately with someone, even without ever knowing their real name. I am sorry to her family and to those of you who had the privelage of knowing Faye more than just as an alias on a discussion board.
Love Kym

As is the case with many other members of this community, I never knew Faye.  However, I do know some who had & without excpetion I was always told she was a wonderful person.  We are all connected through this medium & such a loss is undoubtedly felt by each of us.

All I can add is what I was once told by someone of a eulogy given by a friend of the departed.  I really wish that I could remember the words so that I might share them...but the gist of what was said amounted to each of us having a only certain limited time in this life & that what was important about the life was not the dates of birth & death, but the "dash" that appears between them for that represents our time here.  It sounds as if Faye made the most of her "dash."

Peace & blessings to her family & her memory.

I did not know her but, a post by Faye was not to be ignored.  They always invoked a grin, raised eyebrow or a chuckle from me.

If there is an afterlife I'm sure she's in the good place.
