I see ladies on bp, nothing wrong with that. How do you know they have pimps, have you ever reviewed or seen a lady who advertises on backpage?

Just need to vent.

I'm just about fed up with young indy providers from BP.  Last week, I set an appointment and she said 'yes'.  When the time came, no call no show no nothing. And I already saw this lady once.  Today, set up an appointment with another young lady with 1 good TER review - when I arrived at the hotel and called for room number - she said she couldn't make it.  She never even called so I wouldn't drive to the hotel.

I've had it.  Will go back to either an Agency or established indies above 27.

You show no respect from your clients. Your actions are deplorable. I am not excusing the guys that stood you up but what you do is just as bad. Women like you give others in your profession a bad name and make the guys more inclined to stand up other in the future.

Plus the good clients you stand up are hopefully not going to rebook thus you will be missing future business form guys who keep their appointments. These clients will often warn others about you and so you will miss other quality clients along the way. Your weakening the quality of clients you see that way.

Triple booking is losing you money in the long run and increasing your risk of meeting up with guys like jlart123 in the thread below. Any good business needs return costumers and positive word of mouth for long term profitably and your business plan weakens you ability to generate both.

Ladies, and I am using that term loosely, like you really piss me off. I hope I never book a date with you. Please feel free to decline any attempt by me to book with you in the future. You will be doing me a favor.

you must accept the fact that they definitely have pimps. In other words, if the BP (former CL) types are "reliable", that is because they have the kind of "daddies" who'd knock the snot out of them if they weren't ready to go!

Now if you'd want to be the demand to that supply curve, then go ahead and seek out the reliable types on BP and alike, because I tell you what:

Most of those girls who are truly indie, young and operate out of BP, you'll find them at the nearest mall when they have a few hundred $$$ in their purses ;)

Not every lady on Backpage has a pimp or is unreliable. How many of these ladies do you know? I know plenty and guess what they don't have pimps and they can keep a schedule.

True that the flaky ones do out number the quality ones but what you said is as bad as the crap they put out on the media about this hobby and just as accurate. Yes pimped ladies are on Backpage and so are the flakes, but so are many quality ladies. Generalizations are rarely accurate about any group.

I never said that there were no quality ladies on BP! Check again to see what got your knickers in a twist, but I guess that I am guilty of not defining "young". Now you defined young I have less of an issue. I have a different definition of young (20-25) and that changes things quite a bit. I know of four ladies in my definition of young that are reliable, independent and advertises on BP. I only now one lady that advertises on Backpage that fit your definition of young.

She when she was 20 was somewhat managed a friend of hers that is also was showing her the ropes and doing her booking, screening, and provided her incall for $50 of her fee. They also did doubles together. She never beet her or anything in fact they where roommates and they new each other for years.

Now she is 21 she broke off on her own and is still reliable. They still room together and do doubles together but she does her own screening and stuff.

I do not know personally any other providers in that age range because of fear of the under aged and I feel some (not all) in that age range are not mature enough to handle sex work and the crap that comes with it. So if I can't get independent age and maturity verification from a trusted source (which is hard to get), I will not see them. I will not knowingly do harm to get my nut.

But despite that I know of a few real classic (abusive) pimps and a few agencies that advertise 18-20 year old on BP and I know of plenty of flake ladies in that range. (No, I have not book with any them besides one agency girl and I regretted that.) So with your definition of young you are largely correct.

I get defensive of BP girls as I have friends who advertise there and a lot people here lump all those on BP as flaky, B&S  con artist that are on drugs and have a pimp. That is not true at all. Sorry if I miss understood you. It turns out we might not disagree that much after all.

I am steadfast about my opinion that many young girls in this industry in the 18-20 YO demographics are pimped, but if it makes one feel better about it, then use the word "managed". To me it is all the same and mere semantics.  If I had to put a number on it, I would say 80% or more, i.e, 4 out of 5 girls in that age demographic who used to advertise on CL and have now migrated to BP are PIMPED! Don't even get me started about the underage girls which will open a big can of worms!

If it does not work for you then do not do it.  I go to wal-mart and sometimes they are out of stock on what I want so I do not go back? what kind of fool are you? In this hobby life happens and yes it has happened to me also. And yes I bitched a little but nothing beats a young hottie fucking your brains out when it does go right.  I am a firm believer in TOFTT to keep new talent coming in,  if you take the time to ask you will hear how many no shows they get.  It does go both ways so take it wiith a grain of salt and go on.

Yes it sucks, and it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, it still sucks.

I think the only way to discourage it is for everyone to take a stand and refuse to tolerate it. Too many guys will see a major hottie advertising and even if she has a rep for NCNS their little head takes over and decides it's worth the risk. The same goes for the ladies, business is slow, or the rent is due and they will book an appointment against their better judgement with a known flake, and then they are pissed when he does it to them too, even when they should have known better than to have booked the appointment to begin with.

If both men and women would refuse to schedule with known time wasters, maybe, just maybe they might stop. Yeah right, I proably just need a drink because it's never going to happen. lol

No doubt the providers complain just as much I don't think I said otherwise and if it seems that way I definitely don't mean that. I mean as far as if we actually made THREADS about it HERE as much. We wouldn't get as many pat on the backs. No....we wouln't but that's alright.  And as far as what you said in the end yeah it won't be happening anytime soon with time-wasters from either end going away  and neither will hearing about it from people who should've known better or didn't have a backup will post here about it.

Changing it up might help.  But beware; I did the same thing a few weeks ago.  Switched to a well know agency.  Had the date; but disappointed b/c the girl was not nearly as attractive as her ad.  
It's like  "James -friggin- Cameron" does their photo shoots/editting.  The BP ads are amateurs; the real pics have unreliable girls, & the hot pics are fakes.  In a short time, I've learned there are no guarantees or perfect set-ups.  But it's frustrating having your time wasted by a BP gal, then see 5 reviews of the same girl pop up in the same week.  She obviously came thru for some guys.  I also try & remember that they're real, & have their own agenda's & issues.  Just as we may change our minds or back-out, etc.  Lack of communication simply reflects on their lack of maturity.  Instead of BP, check out eros or escorts.com  Good Hunting!

There is the business model which does not use appointments, but accepts the first guy to show up & does not answer the phone until she's available again.   We'll never know which girls do this...  until they do it to us.  
To the OP:  You didn't do your homework.  On the Newbie board we would be expected to be more gentle...  and I'll still try...  but in the GD board guys are supposed to know to read the profile, read her ads, read her web site {IMHO, girls with no web site are not as serious about the business & more likely to flake}, look for a well reviewed provider & that is surely several more than "1".  I often find the first review to be suspect / distorted.  THEN, read the reviews (requires VIP).  Sure that costs a few bucks but still less than a spoiled date or wasted opportunity.    
TOFTT has it's risks...  as you now know.

Your problem is finding providers on BP....there ARE some good reliable ones,however, most are BSing and wastes of time.

A provider's age has nothing to do with the problems you face. Providers at every age do this(and so do hobbyists) I'm a 22year old provider and I don't do this, and yes, I've advertised on BP every once in awhile.

DON'T see unreviewed ladies. If it's been said once, it's been said a million times. If she has less than 2 reviews-pass. Far as the lady who stood you up after seeing you once, move on.

Just don't forget that hobbyists do the same thing to providers. Just last week a guy I saw once ripped me of off 1500 for an overnight meeting(my mistake for not requiring a deposit before I drove to him. He of course never showed up after a 2 1/2hr drive to his city)

Learn your lesson. Shit happens. Move on and see well reviewed providers.
