Only tonight did I discover that clicking on a poster's name no longer takes you to their profile. Instead it opens a window for private message, the same as clicking on the little mail icon. Rather redundant, no? Is there some way to reach a poster's profile like there used to be?

you can see a providers "profile" by clicking on "See My Reviews". That brings up your profile and the reviews.

For guys, we have never had a profile but you can click on the number of reviews and view his list of reviews and any White Listings he might have.

If a man has no reviews, you are just out of luck. You can only send a private message.

rofl, its probably a good thing we do not have profiles as hobbyists, I would be rejected all the time if that were the case. lmao

you can also search reviews. select the search by reviewer option and enter the name of the reviewer. that will bring up the reviews written by the reviewer and the white lists for that reviewer. the white lists might not show on the reviewer's profile because he has the option to turn them off.

it's not like the client profiles on verification sites, but it is what is commonly referred to as a reviewer profile here.

I clicked names on a few threads trying to see how it linked, but failed to realize they were aliases. Apparently more caffeine is required before attempting to navigate the boards
