I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this here and if you took the plunge how did it go?

I would have no problem doing this with a companion that I had utilized before, but pretty much all of my favorite providers are cash only.

I had seen her more than a dozen times, maybe more than 20. I knew her real name.
She was going on vacation and offered a discount if I prepaid my next three visits.  
Went great.  
Sessions were great as always and we went back to pay as you go seemlessly. I'd do it again under similar circumstances.

While I may take an occasional risk with a small deposit, and I certainly do my homework before taking such risk, I would never pay the full session upfront. I say this because I have heard one too many stories about a provider who either decided to stop providing, a provider who planned to move/change their name, or something of the sort, deciding to go out in a blaze of glory and use their good name to scam a bunch of clients. It's one thing to lose a hundy, but to lose several hundy or more, I'd only blame myself for being an idiot.

A girl I knew well offered it up to me and I jumped at the chance. I would do it again if the perfect situation arose.

I like it and never had a problem with it. Only once did a gal cancel on me after prepay and she refunded the entire amount immediately. But my prepays are usually for overnights and longer dates not for one or two hour dates, and it seems easier for both of us with prepay. But some gals prefer the envelope and that’s fine too. However, I’ve never been asked and never received any sort of incentive and don’t really need one.

paying upfront is when I have paid for a few tropical vacations up front with the promise that they will show up at the airport when we leave.  I don't pay then anything in direct compensation, but my commitment is several thousand dollars for airfare and expenses for them to accompany me on a luxury vacation.  I guess I have been lucky because I have never been stood up to board alone when it was time to leave, but like others have said, I would not do this with a provider I had not been a regular with for a long time.  The only way I can get scammed is by them not showing up on the outbound travel day.  

It was a girl I already knew, who was friends with a bunch of us and was joining us at an M&G we were throwing in LV. Her car had been impounded and she needed some cash to get it out. I knew she was extremely unlikely to stiff me because she'd piss a bunch of people off and blow her shot at drumming up business at the M&G. I was right and it was all good.

99% of the women I see are trusted providers with whom I am a regular. I have occasionally paid up front with these women, and would do so again.  

Not saying that was a bad or stupid thing. I might do the same in certain situations but in general I would not make an appointment that required full payment in advance in this activity.

I believe the older I get and the longer I have been in the industry I don’t care 🤷🏽‍♀️ for cash, nor do I want to spend our time worrying about collecting money. Paying in advance allows us this time to focus on what’s important having fun!  

For the record, each time I've seen you I've paid 100% up front without hesitation. The one time you cancelled your trip you returned the full amount quickly without me asking about it. Besides having an amazing time with you you're a true professional in every way.
