Now he didn't give a TER handle but I pretty much say I don't barter, trade or discount for reviews and if he were more professional. I say if you want an appt you are going to make one period, if you feel you want to go out of your way to do one you will do so period and I hope it'd be honest. He says I stand to gain a lot and that a lot of. I wrote I understand certain looks will get better ratings regardless and I'm a good provider but I can't make someone give me all 8's or 9's or a 10.
He goes on about being a pro journalist and photog and he does a lot of writing. He's vague on what I guess him reviewing me would do for me. He claims A WHOLE LOT of VIP providers do this and I said great dare to be different but i'm not them. He says why am I angry (I hate when people say or write stupid things and can't get why you would be offended or angry) and I said you just asked me to you my body for a cheaper price for a high review. He says I understand why you can't.
I said it's not that I can't it's that I WON'T....big difference. Some dishonest sh*t going on. For a glowing review he would request 2hrs for most ladies hh rate...NOW before I decided to rip him a new one and call him everything I could think of I kindly ignored him from my IM.

Look her prices are low but that does not mean she is lying. I am personal friends with not a client of some low price escorts and they get asked for discounts all the time and one is even cheaper price wise than her. Some men are just plain cheap.

What I did was to put up a more plausible hypothetical. He is allegedly a photographer. If he saw your website photos the first thing he would do is tell you that you need some decent photos. So one could surmise that he would first try to barter HIS services and not a review. Can you follow that? I can't make it any more simplistic.

I have not experienced it but have read many posts on this subject from both sides. I would not ask to trade nor would I give a false review. But I have heard it is a regular thing for certain hobbiest. Reputations are something that should be good, not bad and those who act poorly are normally judged harshly. I have also heard the stories of being called back after a review that the provider did not think was up to her expectations which I also do not think is proper unless it is just plain false.
It was absurd he claimed he was such a professional and that so many pro ladies and hobbyists did this...dunno if it's true or not but it's terrible. Now I feel a hobbyist lol wondering what's tainted and what's not.
I always read reviews with a grain of salt as some are plain bull crap. True most aren't but there are to many reasons to fake a review to ever rely on just reviews. That is why when I screen for ladies reviews are't the only thing I look at and I spend the time to back-channel the lady. I always have two or three different sources of information on a lady before I see her, Her reviews are only one source no matter how many she has and on how many sites.
Clearly some are if he supposedly give reviews for discounts and that a lot of high-rated providers supposedly give such discounts in exchange.
Even in this den of thieves w/o honor and integrity, we have just a bunch of shit thrown against the wall. I suspect more than a good number of reviews no matter the venue are inflated for this or that. So, yes, dismiss this motherfucker with extreme prejudice. He's also that guy that will get you busted because he'll brag about his exploits in a bar sitting next to LE.

In an environment where sex is traded for money (including SO / marriage relationships many times lol),
anything can happen. At least hopefully the major motivations are clear, but this as well cannot always be assumed....
However, people can be ethically challenged in one or a few areas, be practicing a lifestyle of self-gratification, and still not be predatory, have a certain respect for the wellbeing if not at least the superficial dignity of others.....
I just do not assume this going in....

for the particular client in question all we know is what is reported. the "probably" is sheer speculation.
clients use TER to find ladies that will not out them to business competitors, practice extortion or blackmail, rip-off and rob. providers use TER to find clients who will not scam them, abuse them, or injure them at the very least. at the best find reliable respectful gentlemen who keep their deals.

Yeah and though I found it already I asked him his TER ID and he said he didn't like to give it out until after he showed the review to the lady. Then I've been thinking even if I'd fell for that BS whose to say he'd have actually done the review at all or shown me one review and put another etc. This is probably where my overanalyzing comes in handy.

in fact a few with the most excellent reviews have been the most predatory and controlling....

but much more risky for those who passively accept group think. the "just trust reviewed ladies" mantra is hogwash. the new TER policy limits the usefulness of the site considerably. if you're a once and done guy it's less of a problem. for someone like myself who prefers repetition, well my standards just have to be higher. the more you tend to repeat the higher they have to be.
true, there are a few ladies with superior business ethics. i think that some clients with more experience than i have had a rude awakening or two. i have had at least one very rude awakening from a substantially reviewed lady (not in my profile). other ladies have been.... well let's say _ambiguous_ in their practices and put me and my interests at risk. fortunately i had some warning and avoided much.
the thing about the new TER policy is that it means one has to be quite pro active. TER provides a place but the function of avoiding folks with poor business ethics has to be carried out by the individual. back channel forms of communication have to be engaged and evaluated with care. (some clients have agendas too.) careful sifting of the regional boards (to synch up appearances and disappearances of providers with repeated discretion and legal problems) is useful.
still TER can be useful as a passive medium and that's pretty much the only reason i am back. i've avoided major inconveniences from drama queens (not in my profile) by listening to multiple sources and checking.
I am well known here for my once n done approach. My review numbers tend to confirm this. This is my overt / public face here and on another board I frequent.
However I suspect that you know that I repeat with a very select few as well. This I prefer to keep private.
I am EXTREMELY picky about whom I choose to repeat with. With repetition comes the very large potential of "relationship dynamics", the discovery if not sharing of vulnerabilities, and the TMI factor, which can turn very ugly if the persons involved do not care to uphold one another's privacy and dignity, or simply lack discretion.

This is the kind of BS that made me stop contributing on TBD a few years back. The reviews were all inflated pieces of fantasy either as a quid pro quo to the provider, or some whipped guy was trying to earn favor from his ATF. Some guys were just scared of repercussions a dysfunctional DQ provider (of which there are many) might wreak upon their lives if anything critical is mentioned. As a result every beer-bellied chatty Cathy was reviewed as 'Model Material, athletic, great service'.
Can you imagine if a food critic announced himself before eating at a restaurant? Of course not, they are discreet for a reason. A review is worthless if it is made under spell consideration.
So far I have found TER to be more detailed and more honest; I just hope it stays that way.

3 of the 15 ladies my wife hangs with who are escorts out plus my wife who works at a brothel has told me the got similar offers. There also was anther post about this something a few months back. Apparently it is not that rare and if it is not that rare some must be falling for it. It is one of the reasons I dig deeper than just reading the reviews, to many of them are just BS for many reasons to numerous to list.

time and time again this happens. someone posts a behavior problem (of a client or a provider) and the folks whose interests are opposed (i.e. they profit somehow from the bad behavior or don't want to see consequences to a "friend") crawl all over the poster with alias attacks.
can't really expect TER to serve a regulatory function, it would cost too much to sort out the he said - she said stuff. alias flipping happens very very rarely.
so if you've got a client or provider performance issue, post knowing you'll generate a train wreck. the smarter readers can sort it out just fine. the alias attacks can often be viewed as confirming the complaint.
