User must PM me with rationale for the release
Must have a reasonably clean record of posts not being pulled
Any other rules that I think up later, that I may or may not share

So, since it's the 4th, we're already behind.
Oh, and if I don't get 31 requests, I may have to parole some dangerous criminals.  Just saying.

That makes sense. So riddle me this.

If I look at my post history I have some posts that have been pulled, but AFAIK they were all pulled because a post higher in the thread hierarchy was pulled, and all posts below were killed as a result. And of course, the listed offense is something unrelated to my post.

I know this is done so the mods don't have to give a separate reason for each post below the offending post, etc.

Just curious how that works.

Maybe folks here could submit recommendations for folks that should be moderated (if they aren't already) with the accompanying rationale. Maybe enough votes and they get moderated permanently.

To your first question, I can usually tell but please don't make my head hurt.  I really like your other suggestion, but please don't suggest any of the mods.  Last time I moderated any of them, I got in big, big trouble back at HQ.

I just PMed Little Phil that we should let MP be a Mod if you two go on vacation. Sounds fun to me. Maybe tag team him with Gatorjimmy or Hirogen. Now that would be terrifying. My money id on MP as the mod that survives.
