Though a Google search, I found out I am not the only Kate Bishop.  Turns out Kate Bishop is also a super hero of sorts -- a tall, leggy, buxom, raven-haired, highschool beauty with intense combat skills and an heiress to boot!

The truth is, I was here first.  Certainly that doesn't make me comfortable with the fact that this new and apparently popular superhero is a favorite among children and teens and they like to discuss her in online forums.  

A moral dilemma.  What should I do?

Get listed as an adult web site with cyber sitter which is the software that protects against children viewing adult images.

Once you register with them they will know you are an adult web site & it will block the kids from going to it (see link)

No worries, she's not that popular.

1) she's a brand new character in a brand new comic book that's barely been out a year.
2) she has no superpowers
3) most comic book fans are 25+ males.  I dare you to find 1 in 100 children and teens who would even know who this brand new character is.
4) I like the book, but truthfully the monthly circulation is probably around 40,000 copies.  Even comic book fans will have trouble figuring out who "Kate Bishop" is.

My old domain was www.sinfullyciara.com

Kids all over the world were typing in Ciara. for the rapstar.. and my site was on the first page of any search engine there was being that the name Ciara was in my domain ( saw it all from my traffic counter)

There were so many pics on my site with my face etc... One day my youngest and his friends were in his room and said - LEts look for pics of Ciara- I sent them all outside-

I blocked my own Ip number from my domain. It was memorial day weekend. Their dad came to get them for the long weekend. I tore all of sinfullyciara.com down, and created buffalo charm. went to my photographer that saturday and did a quick hour photo shoot with no face etc... remarketed my site on over 200 sites i advertise on, had over 100 girls switch out my banners on their sites.. and changed over  250 yahoo groups I was in ..took my archives out of the internet archives and so on.

It's scary, if you have kids.

For the summer months I even block the AOL domain from my site being that AOL is a kids/teens breath that they breathe.

Why not change from Kate to Cate, or something similar?

...that you're "Buffalo Woman" you doubtless get lots of Native American traffic...and Ted Nugent.

To let them know her site is Adult so it will be blocked when kids (with cyber sitter) try to click on it.

Its a good idea..but !.. then site goes down for  3-4 days til it propogated- all files  need to be moved..

New marketing
changing on over  100 to 300 sites..
