If you're asking because you're trying to decide if you should or not then what the potential clients prefer should be way down the list of considerations.

Where I come from, escorting is considered illegal. Heck, even giving a massage to a client without a drape is illegal. Thus I not only expect providers to obscure their faces, I prefer it, for their safety and mine.
Reviews give me enough info about a provider's appearance to let me decide whether to see her. Facial appearance has never been an issue, and sometimes it's been a pleasant surprise.
Who would prefer for a lady's face to be hidden? Very interested to know why one would create such a thread. I mean we all know why many do not and most of us without question respect that decision wholeheartedly I would sincerely hope. I created this thread because I am a provider that shows my face. And I wanted to know from a male perspective if it made a difference. And how. I'm definitely not "trolly" . I'm asking questions to know how to better advertise myself.
Trying to honestly think of most of the providers Ive seen and I swear most do not show their faces! It's just not a deal breaker mentally for me. Kind of unavoidable and like I said very understandable. But if we are talking selfish preference of the sorts, then Yes! A face pic I would like to see!
I first check for reviews on ter, then look at her menu, a couple of things can be deal breakers. Then I do a tineye check and google image search on the photos to see if they are hers and are a body type I prefer. The final factor, is her rate within my limit
I have absolutely no problem with a provider that conceals her face. I totally understand and respect that these providers do it for security and privacy issues. What does concern me though are the providers that have the same pictures on their sites and P411 for years, literally. Usually this can be overcome by sending PMs to recent reviewers and reading the written part of reviews. Nevertheless there have been many potential providers that I've crossed off my list because their pics have not been updated for way too long of a time, IMHO. I really appreciate the regional ad boards where the providers provide recent pics in their ads. To me this adds instant credibility and puts them at the very top of my list on who I start with my review process.
I wish there were a mechanism for TER to provide a profile pic, that has to be updated at least annually. I would also like to see this done on P411. This would definitely help the hobbyists and in all reality I think in many cases it would help the providers as well
Almost all of the ladies I see for the first time are ladies I have met previously at M&G's. On those rare occasions when not, reviews and pics will give you a general idea, even if her face is blurred or clipped.
I understand why many don't. The internet is forever and once out there can't be controlled. I find the face to be the sexiest part of a woman. It is a real plus when I see it. But your comfort and safety comes first. If it matters to you if your real life friends, coworkers, boss, class mates, teachers, family or any one else knows that you are a sex worker please don't do it. It will likely give you more clients but it comes with a cost and is forever. Do what is right for you not me. Showing your face is a hard choice that only you can make. Just remember once out there you loose control of it.
I know it's important to a lot of you all and its understandable without question. WITHOUT QUESTION. "Those" men get that. Trust me. They just don't give a fuck about it. They don't care about your concerns or dealings in this. It's not about getting that or "understanding" your reasoning. They know.

Just based on the number who do and bring no negative issues of discretion to gents. That's exactly what the OP was discussing which is to me one of the most interesting threads up here I've seen in awhile to be honest. Even though, I thought it was a dude asking the question at first, so I took it all wrong. It could have been explained better from her original post but anyhoo. I know what you're trying to connect. For one, that's not what the dude who you responded to was even saying. He wasn't making that connection. He was saying just in terms of you the provider and your potential concern and safety for yourself. Not then related to how it might affect him or any other gent as far as their safety. So on the understanding of the personal concerns that you have and many have as far as protecting your identity from loved ones, LE or whomever, 99% of guys get that. They don't care bc soooo many of them (females too with other shit) don't care about others. They don't give a fuck.
And to make it seems as if those providers who do show their face are more risky to a gentlemans own discretion, well, I'll let you gals fight about that. Lol.
I have known Scoed for quite a while, and he certainly does 'give a fk' about providers as a whole... not just fkin them. He is married to one, so things are closer to home for him vs. most. I guess my post to him should have read, "Thanks for giving a fk" lol. If you call me Rayne again, I am gonna punch you in the neck!!!
its a personal preference & I don't think affects business. My girlfriend & doubles partner does NOT show her face so when taking pics we have to creative with posing or blurring to allow for both of comfort zones.
Yes definitely shows her face or at least half of it. I have had too many times that the blurred face is totally not what I was expecting.......not in a good way......
I have a regular vanilla job and don't want my face out there for the whole world to see. I have been told more than once when meeting me in person that they Hobbyist was relieved and happy about my appearance. I know I might not get chosen as often for it but I have to be descrete and that matters most to me.
