I'm trying to make decisions on areas that need cosmetic surgery and i'm wondering where should I begin?

I guess i would have to say that a ladys face is more impotant to me then her body. Actually, her attitude is more important than either, but that's a story for another time.

  On a more serious note. I realize that this is obviously to be a decision for you based on both personal and profession feedback(thus this thread) but your the one who has to look at yourself in the mirror every morning, not the rest of us. Cosmetic surgery is a highly personal and sensitive area from what i can tell, so my advice(which isn't really worth much usually) is to do what YOU feel best doing. Don't have certain things done because of business then be misserable on the inside after because you would have rather gone another route. Crap, i guess i'm back to that attitude thing again. Sorry.

My gut reaction is to do what you are going to be happy with when you retire.  Or what gives you the most bang for the least surgery.  I would think a consultation from a good plastic surgeon would tell you what they think would make the best inprovement to your appearance.  Please, whatever you do, don't have two goodyear blimps moored to her chest unless it looks like they should be docking there together. LOL GRIN

I prefer a great body / nice face.  Of course, knowing how to use your gifts is just as important.

Well, my 2 cents is this.  There is not much you can do about your face other than good skin care, makeup and hairstyle.  But with your body you can make a great difference - diet and cardio (and I don't mean walking on the treadmill reading a magazine or talking to your friend) exercise.

Anyways, I agree with orthodx that you should go for the least risky surgery (in terms of achieving a hard body, please try working hard at a diet and exercise plan first - it will be SAFE, natural, better and more permanent).

First off, the most important factor is what's between your ears.  Not your face per se, but your personality and attitude.  I'm seen some gorgeous women that were just painful to be around, and I've been with some less than stunning women who totally blew me away with their intellect or enthusiasm (Best Actress award worthy).

That being said, I think you will be most happy with any facial work long term, although PLEASE make sure that you pay the extra amount and go to a major city to get a top notch Doctor to do the work IF you decide that you want to do something.  Most of the horror stories you see on the talk shows were for Doc in a Box shops.  Get independent references (you must know SOMEONE in the healthcare industry). The best bets would be someone in either administration or insurance that would know who has had success and who is more trouble prone.  Good Luck!

boobs? well that's a whole 'nother story. personally, i'd rather see a nice face than big boobs!

The face draws me in, but the personality gets me off.  The body plays it"s part but a great body with a poor attitude does not take me anywhere.

Remember, you cannot be everything to everyone. If you get this procedure done, then do it for yourself ONLY. Not because "Tom", "Dick", and "Harry", says that you need to get it done, to be more attractive in their eyes. If they are not appreciative of your natural assets, then let them begone.

I think that an underlying tone here is that you should do what makes you comfortable.  But, that is like asking to hear what you want to hear.

Another question for yourself is why do you want to do any of this?  And the answer should be discussed with your Surgeon.  There is a whole psychological mind set to cosmetic surgery.  For example, studies show that women get boob jobs to look better in their clothes while guys are more concerned with how the boobs look in the all-to-gether.  As a result some women are dissappointed when their men express dissatisfaction with the results of their breat augmentations.  We have all seen pics of women who just ruined their bodies with tits that look like cantelopes nailed to a flag poll.

I personally like a pretty face.  That doesn't say I don't care about the bod, but I also like to do dinner dates and love looking at a drop dead gorgeous gal.  But my personal prefrence, thought it is what you asked for, isn't really too important.  

So I feel that the most imoportant thing I could say is to choose your surgeon very carefully.  Interview many and go with someone who suits you emotionally and has an excellent reputation.  Ask to see results from previous patients treatment, but understand that most practitioners will present only thier good stuff.  So try to get some honest data on their problems, (referred to as their morbidity and mortality statistics) and realize that a Dr. who has never had a problem is either lying or hasn't done much.  

Be prepared to spend some serious money.  Though high cost alone cannot guarantee a beautiful outcome, more certainly a bargain basement fee will lead to real dissappointing results. "You get what you pay for" has some validity.

When it's all done...love yourself.

To answer this you must ask these questions first:

1. Would you make it with a fat chick who was pretty?
2. Would you make it with an ugly chick who had a great bod?

Of course most of us guys answer yes to both questions, so there you go!

A beautiful face and great personality are difficult to beat. Too many women get boob jobs and end up with permanent scars or deformity which are difficult to fix.

To tell you the truth, I am not sure I can answer.  Different women attract me in different ways.  Face, body, skin, hands, voice, eyes, hair, walk ....  Maybe it's just the whole package of who she is that attracts or doesn't.

What's most important to me about looks, is flawlessness. The close your can get, the better.

If you have a problem area, then THAT is what the surgery or the diet or the workout ought to address. It isn't about guys' preferences, it's about YOUR attributes.
