When I moved to Vegas, I had to bump it up to $600.

Luckily, my current favorite provider is only $350, so that helps the average.
Recently I found a feature on P411 to get email notifications about providers coming to my area. No other filters are applied. Whereas before I was not seeing almost any new P411 listings, now I was getting 3 - 5 a day in my email but they were all well over my budget. Mystery solved but now I must face the choice of scrounging for crumbs still within my budget it bumping it up by at least $200 or more.
So...how have you adjusted your budget in the last few years? Or have you? If so, by how much?

From experience I only can count few times where it was worth to spend more and get the same treatment as previously with other ones. Since realizing that paying more doesn’t equal value I stick to the same comfortable budget and have been happy with that.
Location plays a big factor, maybe 🤔 depends on what boxes you're checking off?

I think your range is a good guess for many typical cities represented on this board although I've seen an increase in reviews in recent years for providers in the higher tiers. One trend I've noticed...spinners are often 1k+ / hr often with 1.5 or 2hr minimum.
I have raised my budget but not at the rate prices have gone up. I used to feel comfortable paying a more premium rate for higher end ladies. But they have skyrocketed to 1k and above for an hour. Mind you, my budget used to linger in the $300-$500 range, with $500 fetching much higher end ladies. I have definitely moved the needle by $200-$300.

Here in LA, 800 is pretty standard. If you're lucky, you might find a hottie at 700. Of the girls I've seen at 600, 2 hits and 2 misses.
As recently as pre-pandemic, 800 was a premium number reserved for real, honest-to-goodness 10s or 10+. And there were still 9s and 10s in the 6-700 range, with the occasional surprise doll at 500. Now it seems that if you want at least an 8, be prepared to shell out 800+ as a matter of course.
So yeah, I upped my budget per session for playtime. But I've also reduced my overall playtime.
I will not raise my budget to get the product that I can get cheaper some place else.

Just look at partner salaries at the top law firms.
Escort rates have risen like attorney rates.
in 2000 it was about 500/hour
in 2010 it broke 1k/hour and
in 2026 it's over 2k hour.
Except, those top tier attorneys are billing 10 hours per day, 6 days per week, 45-48 weeks per year. So, maybe they were billing 1.5 million in 2000 and are now billing out over 6 million. Provider-attorney increase on a percentage basis may be the same but absolute amount is way, way different.

Volume cut is definitely not preferred. However I forgot to mention another alternative which is to compromise on body type. Still, I can't do "curvy" but perhaps more Brazilian butt / slim waist that I used to avoid.
Oh, and someone mentioned agencies as better value. And CDL as our resident kgirl fan might point out, K-orgs can be better value and still meet a spinner preference. But here in the northeast, too many busts on agencies, specially K-orgs so Indies are still a safer goto.
anything you say. I have no explanation why the ratio of agency busts is so much higher in New England. The vast majority of Kgirl busts are infiltration cases, which falls on the booker's shoulders. A more thorough screening process might help keep LE out. The bookers on the West Coast are all seasoned professionals, and I always felt like once I was approved, I would be pretty safe if they are vetting everyone by the same standard.
My only suggestion for indies is to look for undiscovered gems who are not well-known enough to start raising prices now.
