I live in a Northern state.  And over the last couple of weeks, as the weather has improved, I've been going to stores and restaurants, and generally seeing fewer people.  I attribute this to people choosing to be outside or going on vacation.

I search the boards back a couple of years, and couldn't find this question asked:  In the Northern states, is there such thing as a 'Summer Slump'?  Or, maybe even in the Southern states?  Too hot?

Meaning, do clients find that they are seeing providers less frequently, because of outside activities, vacations, events?  And inversely, do providers typically see that they get fewer clients during the summer months?

No agenda.  Just curious.

I am currently in Chicago & ran 5k this morning at the Zoo with my FMTY date. No Summer slump because I go where my expertise is needed. I will drive to you if your close enough. I drive from California to Arizona all the time. I can’t speak for others, but I am very active & love to be outside. I rode bikes on Hermosa Beach with my DMTY date last month it was so much fun! 🤩

Anyone who can figure out why it's slow or busy should win a prize.

From what I have heard re: the North East, generally speaking, from mid January to early March things tend to slow down. Credit card bills from the holidays hit in mid-January and that is when most bonuses have been spent or invested.
.
Many women have told me that things get slower mid July to mid August, as that is peak vacation time. Some say September can be a bit slow as well, as the spending hangover from that summer vacation spending bleeds into late summer.
.
Curious as to others thoughts as well, as I guess this doesn't translate across the entire lifestyle.

The same reason Saturdays are the slowest for me regardless of the time of year. Family time.

A gal I know who has a Florida incall always said that summers are slow for her. A lot of her clients are snowbirds and are back up north in the summer. Summers are "off-season" in Florida.

There is always business SOMEWHERE.  You just have to find it.

With that said, I have many friends who see providers, and many of those are married.  Providers who have a large number of married customers see a slump at various times of the year when families tend to do things together, typically Christmas and Thanksgiving Holidays, Spring Break and Summer months.  With my close friends, it's more a matter of paying their dues by spending time with their families to keep their outside activities secret, but there are a few who, as someone said below, spend all their money on family vacations and have none left for pussy.  These are the marginal hobbyists who don't bring in a large income stream for the providers, so the impact is less than missing out on the regularity of their deep-pocket customers.

For example, no one will be around during Semana Santa (Holy Week), which takes place around Easter in late March and early April.
