With a lot of men still out of work or underemployed, do any providers feel any guilt about taking a hobbyist's money knowing he should not be wasting his cash?

I had a conversation with a bartender yesterday and he told me that men will always "find" money for sex and alcohol. He said many men "find" this money by not making a child support payment, not paying a car note or not properly providing for their children (food, clothes, college fund).

I ask this since I think most hobbyists are married and/or have children to support.

I know that a provider could possibly only feel guilty if she knew enough about a gentleman's family and financial responsibilities.

And with your Social Security Number, I can access court documents to see if you are in arrears on support payments as well as do a credit check. As a final measure, I call your SO and ask about dietary intake for the family and compare her responses to the USDA food pyramid. Ironically, all this extra work will require a significant rate increase.

If I worked at the BMW dealership would I feel guilty about selling someone a new BMW when their old Honda gets them around just fine?  Nope!

If I worked at Gucci, would I feel guilty about selling someone a 1000 dollar purse when they're pushing their kid around in a broken stroller?  Nope!  (but I might gossip about it with my co-workers after they leave...I mean really who does that lol)

How would I know that a gentleman is paying me instead of his child support unless he were to tell me so?  If a gentleman were to tell me that I probably would not want to see him again...but it would be because I think he's a douchebag, not because I feel guilty.

Personally, I'm wagering it's the former.

I love it...It's her fault that the guy blows his cash on women and she's the reason why the children suffer.  Reality is that at least 50% of the time the reason she's doing this is the kids for which her loser ex never stepped up to pay child support.

If a man flat out told me my fee was his child support payment, I would tell him to go get fked or see another hooker more than willing to take it...even knowing where the money came from. I have  no way of knowing what men do, but I would assume a guy who can't do both would not find a provider charging what I do. If 200 gets him the same nut, he would probably go for that if he was having to pinch pennies.

your personal life and your financial situation is none of my business.  I assume that if you are coming to see me, you have the money to spend.  In my etiquette it says, "please do not discuss the donation or bring my attention to it" ... this implies that our interation should never revolve around the discussion of money.
If you make financial issues the topic of conversation and even cast a negative light on your personal situation I will be highly inclined to not repeat business with you...first of all, what is your  damn point?  You either have the money to spend or you don't.  Don't involve me in it and try to make it MY concern.  I take care of my financial business, and you take care of yours.

If a person can't afford to hobby, then they shouldn't. Period! I would hope that no provider would feel guilty, and they shouldn't. They provide a service, and anyone that partakes in that service is an adult and makes their own grown up decisions. It's not their job or concern to make sure anyone they see is fulfilling their personal responsibilities. I find it very hard to believe you even posted this question, unless you are just trying to stir the pot.

If you want to go down the guilt road, then how about we talk about taking advantage of a provider's need for money so that her best alternative is to sell/rent her body by the hour?  Because there's all sorts of stuff we could talk about that subject.

In the end, it comes down to two adults making a transaction.  That's it.  Everything else, while valid, is just too complex to boil down to a set of reasons.

I think they're capable of making their own decisions, regardless of how poor those decisions may be. I'm not any man's babysitter, nor am I any man's financial adviser. We have a business arrangement and anything that happens in his life aside from our time together is his own business, not mine.

And if he wants to try to blame the provider for taking his money because she's just SO irresistible he can't help but not make his car payment that month because he HAS to see her... just: LOL. They aren't a victim, and we certainly aren't perpetrators. I'm no psychologist, but it seems to me if an addiction is interfering with your life so drastically, the first step is to admit it, and then to do something about it besides try to act like it's anyone else's fault but your own.
