in SoCal. Two girls walking down the sidewalk, holding hands, and kissing each other now and then. Also making out in a restaurant booth. Have seen a few that thought the tablecloth was longer and caught them finger-fucking each other under the table. Two pencil skirts and no underwear is quite common in younger Lesbo's. It also runs across all ethnicities except AA from what I have observed. Even though I know they wouldn't be interested in me, its still pretty hot to watch. Would drive Lopaw crazy. At the nats game, they weren't really in my line of sight. They were 5 or 6 seats to the right of me. Baseball game was straight ahead. I could've caught a couple of quick glances while being conspicuous but there's no way I could've stared at them and just claimed they were in my line of sight. Plus I paid money to watch a baseball game, not see women make out. Also, if I wanted to see lesbians making out, there's a million sites on the internet I can go on.

I suppose the more lesbian couples in any given area the more likely to see lesbian couples making out, just like you are more likely to see gay men making out in public in a city like San Francisco or Key West than you are Fort Worth Texas.
To me this is kind of a non issue, unless one of them was particularly hot I probably wouldn't give them a second look and even if one or both of them was "smoking" I'd probably only give them one second look, wish I could join them and then go about my business.
Contrary to what porn would lead you to believe, lesbians aren't typically hot looking by male standards. Chubby with butch haircuts would be more typical -- although chubby describes most straight gals as well these days.

A certain level of PDA is more than acceptable and affection is a beautiful thing, but there is a point where PDA is unacceptable.

Younger people, especially, can be so "metro" that figuring out who has which parts under their pants and (just as importantly) how they gender identify is beyond me.
There are straight guys wearing ear rings (and I can't remember which side is straight and which isn't) and face jewelry; there are chicks with facial hair (hormone treatments...). There are VERY passable TS - who frankly look much more feminine (and hotter) than the average female (Sasha, for example...).

In Australia in the late 1970's, a few of my rugby team would go to the gay area of Sydney on a Friday night. We'd walk the back alleys and catch groups of cowardly arseholes beating up gay men or lesbian women. We'd beat the crap out of the arseholes and hand them over to the cops. The cops would handle it from there.
I'm really glad this is 2017 and that kind of persecution is rare in Australia or here. Unfortunately, it's still happening in a lot of African and, Middle Eastern and Asian countries. Still PDA by anyone, depending how affectionate, can be uncomfortable for some.

We didn't do it for attention or to annoy the conservative people in our town or to be asked a million questions about our relationship.
