And my reaction was the same as yours... unbelievable and ungrateful. I thought tips were never expected, but always appreciated. Guess she didn't get the memo. Lol.
Twitter is an excellent source of weeding out those types of providers. That post didn't disappoint and weeded out a lot. LMAO.
Came across this ungrateful hooker that was complaining that a $100 gift card wasn't enough to buy something. I rolled my eyes so hard. Is this woman too stupid to realize that she can buy something with the gift card and pay for the rest? Or is she too broke to even do that?
There was a thread earlier about dating/marrying escorts. Definitely don't. Or you'll have to deal with idiotic tantrums like these.

was this like a gift, tip or extra appreciation? Did she give it back? Did you snatch it back? She doesn't disserve it. $100 is a$100 that nobody gives a way for nothing. You were being nice and it's not your problem regardless of all the bad and negative responses you will get here. But from me you are a good, generous man.
The point was that it you are going to buy a gift card, buy one that can actually cover the cost of what's on the website. If you got a $100 gift card to buy something on a site where the average price is $2000, would you use it? Probably do what she did. Put it in a drawer and forget about it.
There are ways to monetize an unwanted gift card: http://www.lendup.com/articles/top-10-places-to-sell-gift-cards-for-cash Top 10 Places to Sell Gift Cards for Cash [Both Online and Near You] . http://hip2save.com/tips/how-to-sell-gift-cards-for-cash/ 5 Legit Ways to Cash In Your Unwanted Gift Cards (In Under 15 Minutes!) . and other articles. . You can pay for TER VIP using some gift cards. TER contracts with a company (paygarden?) to handle the transactions. You buy a GC for cash, e.g., $100. You sell your $100 GC to paygarden at a discount, say $80. Paygarden transfers the $80 to TER on your behalf to pay for your VIP. Paygarden resells your $100 GC to a new customer, sometimes at a discount.

That seems like confusion as to the definition of what the word gift means. One man's opinion.
It's always interesting to me what people will post to Twitter. What's more interesting is the echo chamber of responses this SW received for the tweet. So, I get it, she thought the gesture was "cheap". Why, after finding the gift card in her SW email account after a year, did that prompt her need to go to social media and post about it? Scratches my head a bit.
And for the record, if you go to the lingerie website she notes, there's some stuff there you can get for under $100. Don't know when her page was updated with her wishlist info, but the savvy suitor may have used that information to inform the dollar value and even decided whether that was a good "gift" idea. As the current language indicates she loves lingerie, but may be a bit "selective" about what she prefers.
From my perspective, the brand on her website she's trying to promote is one of "high class" and if you read through her site, she appreciates respectful gentlemen. Clearly, a client in the past thought the gesture kind, and her response was to throw shade on Twitter. The Twitter post seems out of synch to the brand she's trying to promote on her website. Does she care? Maybe, maybe not. But to an observant prospective suitor, maybe some good insight. I assume some will take the hard pass after reading through her feed, and others will shrug it off and think no big deal.
