Part of me says too bad, but I can also see a reason. Some ladies in this biz are professional and it made sense to use that tool, although one um, 'model' did occasionally pop up in the list of 'people you may know'. That could require some explaining if you were researching something with your boss or colleagues looking over your shoulder...  

that's what I was thinking. Also, many of us have linked in profiles for our civvie jobs, so it could get very confusing. Social media is a minefield for trying to maintain discretion and anonymity in two different worlds!

Did you know that if you're automatically signed into FB, and you look at someone's profile (who is not your FB friend), your profile can show up on their page as "people you may know"? You have to be soooo careful. One of my old clients- with whom I have absolutely no connection with in my civvie world, except that he knows my real name- kept showing up on my page as someone I may know. I guess he was looking at my page a lot. Lol!! Luckily we are dear friends and he is one of my favorite people. He's still not one of my FB friends, though.

But the interesting thing for me in all of this is that there were sooo many searches for it on linked in!! Fascinating!

on LinkedIn from past clients and even just people who have emailed Natasha in the past.

Too many guys use the same email on social and business sites, to contact providers. When they do that, we are in their contact list and if they are not paying attention, those sites will spam everyone in their contact list. Some men need to stop worrying about providers being careless with their info. when THEY are the ones who are stupid.
