Would you have any problems with seeing providers that have reviews from guys that also have reviewed TS providers. For some reason it sleeves me out.

RBigFish413 reads

This was discussed a couple of monthes ago and your and my opinion was mostly in the minority. But if I saw in a review where somebody I wanted to see had just seen a guy that frequented TS providers........I will (and have) back off.

the providers that have reviews from guys who have not reviewed any TS providers, never visit TS providers?  Not ever provider visit results into a review, and certainly the ratio is lot lower for guys who visit TS providers.

Why the heck would you care anyway, as long as you use protection.

-- Modified on 8/29/2012 6:13:08 PM

You think every guy writes reviews?? The answer is No, so you have no idea who's been with who.

It's just part of the playing field, just accept it

RBigFish299 reads

Let me break it down for you. If I was dating a girl and she was also seeing another guy who happened to be a bisexual. I wouldn't have sex with her. There is just such a higher chance of gays having HIV that I wouldn't want to have sex with a girl that sees guys that see other guys ?

Blaze, you're right. I know not every guy writes reviews and I have no idea who's been with who. But if I do know, I just won't  see the provider any question. Last time I checked, it's my money and my time........so I'll choose who I'll see. I hope the rest of you dont' mind.

Like it or not, girl on girl sex is hott !!! The idea of a man with a cock in his mouth or ass turns my stomach.

Get another one. I've been recommending sports (Baseball and Football) to folks. :D

No seriously, You are being lulled into false sense of security by trying to get the complete picture of the provider by reading handful  of reviews.

I would suggest a civvie relationship...

-- Modified on 8/29/2012 9:03:40 PM

However, in this industry, you have to respect people's preferences and remember different strokes for different folks.

That being said, I am a straight guy and only see women.

I would bet that if you have seen at least 10 providers in your life, there is a TS connection in that group. Like I said, it's just part of the game.

He doesn't really want to know the truth....

Hence, he would rather just go about his life and criticize those who do know.

But between you, me and the rest of the hobby world....the likelihood of having a provider fucking a guy who saw a TS girl...VERY high.  But this fella won't hear of it...oh well!

And she may not have known either  :D

Maybe we're all connected....what about Kevin Bacon you say?

That's alright...we've got this udo moron who'll tell us all about the BBFS TS Tijuana gals.

" There is just such a higher chance of gays having HIV that I wouldn't want to have sex with a girl that sees guys that see other guys ?"

While that is a point...gay men very, very rarely see TS providers. In fact, it's pretty unheard of. Most of the men who see TS providers are straight. I tend to agree with Dan Savage's theory on why that is, which is essentially that those men are curious about, or turned on by dick, not men. In other words, the men who see TS clients want a dick, but one that's not attached to a man or anything resembling masculinity.

Granted, getting with a TS provider may be a stepping stone for some, i.e. they may start with just dick and move on to men. But I don't think that makes up a majority of that population of men. Furthermore, if a man who has seen well reviewed TS providers, one who did his research and one who was smart and careful is typically not the type who would forgo being cautious and careful when and if he wanted to experiment with other men.

So while I agree that being aware and cognizant of the risks is always important, in this case, I don't think they're quite as high as you think they are.

If you really want to bring it down to a very base level, it's guys...guys will do a lot to get off gay or straight. Guys are the common denominator. Not being sexist just observant. Would you not see a lady that has sex with another lady? Hell no, you'd want to join right in. If all parties are safe, what does it matter?

Or is it that you realize some of your own bad choices regarding sex in the heat of the moment and think every guy is like that? So two guys, it would be worse and less safe?

I don't look at the gender but the behavior that each gender exhibits regarding sex.

would you see a lady who was with another lady but then a ts came in for a three some then you came in and then a dominatrix and then twins, plus a gay guy?

and would you come on their faces?

If you have been hobbying for a number of years, you have been with someone who has been with a TS, or someone who has been with someone else who has. You have also probably been with a woman who has been with bisexual men as well.

Udo362 reads

No. Bisexuals are major risk of transmitting HIV.

a lot less to worry about. I never heard a TS post a thread about getting Chlamydia in his freaking eye either.

That's why I borrowed your laugh! :D

BTW, Glad to hear you made out OK and nice to have you (and your mouth) back:)

I was ready to send emergency frosties.:)

And your BBFS trysts aren't?

GaGambler243 reads

It funny, right around the corner, less than a quarter mile from the world famous Del Rey in Costa Rica, there a bunch of Tranny SW's. They make it very unsafe to walk those streets at night as they aren't above rolling a guy if they can't make money any other day, they've also stabbed a couple of guys in the last couple of years.

I'm not trying to be confrontational, just trying to understand what about it makes you uneasy. I just think it's an odd line to draw. Granted, I would think that most men who are into TS providers are going to see strictly TS providers, and most guys into cisgendered women are going to see strictly cisgendered women. But hey, it's a new day and age! Men feel a little more ate ease with trying something new.

GaGambler256 reads

If you doubt me, just go onto the Tranny board and check the reviews of the guys there, the overwhelming majority have reviews of both TS providers and "real" women.

as for me, "trying something new" doesn't mean sucking another man's cock, but that's just me, I don't mean to judge. I've made too many posts calling other posters out for being narrow minded and judgmental.

I will admit to it grossing me out however, but I support a person's right to have consensual sex with any adult of his/her choice.

crazyshit189 reads

But I'm talking about seeing a provider who I have seen that has a CLEAR and DIRECT link to a TS.

No thank you.

We have all been exposed to shit we would rather not be just by being here, and for a long period of time. If you have been hobbying for years, you have been exposed to more than you know. Makes no difference how selective the escort "claims" to be either.

I would NOT see a gentleman who has seen TS's.  I'm a very 'vanilla' girl myself, and that's just too odd.

Udo404 reads

My cousin's bartender claimed to be a little bisexual when he needed quick cash and serviced an older gay gentleman.

He went on having many civie girlfriends. He had a bad car accident and was found to have AIDS after testing his bloodwork. He claims it was from the gay gentleman. As a result, he unintentionally infected some of his civie girlfriends.

Seems risky.

How about seeing if TER will set YOU up with YOUR own board so YOU can babble all about the BBFS encounters that YOU, YOUR COUSIN, the bartender, the Tijuana gals, your Mother...and all the others you want to babble about.

saturnsky318 reads

than with a lady? Every time a TS is brought up the stigma surrounding it is mostly safety...or why would those guys who are gunshy at seeing providers who see TS? It can't JUST be the ick factor that some have expressed?

Now let's, for discussion sake, go from the point of safety. Why is it that anyone would think TS providers are any less safe than the ladies?

If you think they are, then you may as well be just as icked out by seeing a provider who is seeing men.

Why, both are men..if the TS still has his junk and I suspect that's why they keep it.

So, what does this say about any man who involves himself in p4p, that they all are to be avoided? Surely not. So if this is not the motivation to avoid ladies that have seen TS, it must be the ick factor alone.

I have no dog in this fight, not biased against either party, just bringing up another POV to add to the discussion.

crazyshit198 reads

And of course this is a big assumption, look at the statistics for HIV infection.

Gay men are overwhelmingly the largest segment of HIV+ people, apart from IV-drug users.

The science is there to back it up.  First of all, receiving anal sex unprotected is by far the easiest way to get something.  In Europe, they use suppositories, which are drugs that are taken by sticking them up the rectum.  Why?  Because the tissue in the rectal cavity is some of the most absorptive tissue in the human body.  You can get something into your bloodstream much more efficiently than taking it orally.

It goes to follow that if you are having unprotected anal sex, you are risking getting everything the partner has.  And that's to say nothing about the anal bleeding that occurs when the tissue there is ripped.

And there are plenty of stories about gay men being very promiscuous.  As a friend of mine in finance said, men are like the gas pedal, and women are like the brakes.  Men are pushing to get further, while women are saying, "Hold on...let's go more slowly."  Two men?  All gas pedal, no brakes.

But I submit that this is entirely a result of an assumption that TSs behave like gay men.

Udo226 reads

My gay friend that died of AIDS admitting to being the receptive partner of bareback anal sex with up to five diifferent guys a night right in bar bathrooms every weekend.

He did say men are sexual animals and can't get enough sex. No commitment or emotions required,

because of the risk of transmission if you want to go there. If you frequent providers who do anal sex even with straight men, your chances increase. Since you had admitted to such wreckless practices as bbfs with complete stangers in Mexico, I would say your odds are up already.

crazyshit240 reads

At least I didn't get that from Udo's post.

I have heard of just crazy hookup unprotected sex with total strangers in gay bars.  Of course, that's hearsay, too.  I've never been to a gay bar, so that's secondhand information...at best.

hotplants246 reads

So, you don’t exactly have much of a leg to stand on. And, for anyone around here to be throwing around accusations of promiscuity is beyond laughable.

Are some gay men promiscuous? Yes. Do some have unprotected sex. Yes.

Are some heterosexual men promiscuous? Yes. Do some have unprotected sex? Yes.

Are some people, who have sex, also IV drug users? Yes. Do some IV drug users share needles? Yes. Are all of those people GAY or transsexual? Umm…no.

Those of you who get all in a tizzy about the possibility of having sex with someone, who has had sex with someone else who has had sex with a TS, need a serious reality check. ANYONE having unprotected sex with ANYONE else whose STD status is unknown to them carries more risk that having sex, with that same person, protected. Simple as that.

If you’re so damned worried about the few degrees of separation between all the ‘normal’ heterosexual anal sex going on, and that “dirty, risky” anal sex with TS’s, you best give up seeing sex workers all together ‘cause lots of sex workers have anal sex with clients. And then they have sex with you.

Hell---I bet there are plenty of providers/clients out there who regularly, willingly, have unprotected sex---you think?

And guess what? HIV (nor any other STD) distinguishes between “GAY” unprotected sex and heterosexual unprotected sex. To believe otherwise is just plain stupid. In case you haven’t heard, for quite a while now the largest segment of people newly infected with HIV are heterosexual. Oddly, that has always been the case in Africa. Huh. How the hell do you suppose that happens? Do you think all of the African men women and children who have HIV are fucking TS's?

The fact that a provider happens to be TS is irrelevant here. Everyone is swimming in the same damned pool.

crazyshit228 reads

Between seeing someone who you know has had direct contact with TS providers or TSs, and assuming (correctly) that they might have had indirect contact through degrees of separation.

Personally, for me, I just wouldn't go there.  Same as if I know that a provider bangs certain types of people.  If a provider is known to have sex with IV drug users, no way I'm going there.  I know one bodyrub girl who was very popular and recently went into rehab for heroin use.  No way I'm going there, even if she comes back with a clean set of tests.

I'm not equating TSs with IV drug users at all.  I'm just saying that we all make our own choices.

Let's follow this through logically. You are now screening based on the premise that to see a lady she needs to only see people you are okay with, and those people also need to only see people you are okay with?

Based on this post, you may as well retire, as I guarantee there is no one in this business who will pass that test.

Of course, there are things that make each of us uncomfortable based on our personal limits. But why you would go out of your way to find out as much as you can about the sex partners of a provider's sex partners (and if she is establised, I think it is safe to assume that encompasses a large number of people - 20 clients who each saw 20 providers gets us to 400, and that is not even a good month for a working lady)? Hell, if you live in a small town, you can walk down the street and figure that you are within a couple of degrees of fucking everyone you pass. I am sure that will get you really lathered up.

I suggest you either stop this obsessive worrying and research so you can enjoy your hobby, or retire.

I've been sexually active for almost forty years, have fucked literally thousands of women, and many of those women have fucked literally thousands of guys. Not to mention the fact that I grew up in the SF bay area of the sixties and seventies, and although I am not gay, I GUARANFUCKINGTEE you that I have slept with many women, in the pre condom era no less, that also slept with the many bisexual guys of that age.

I can imagine all the sleep his would lose if I were ever to tell him that I had already fucked a woman he had just had sex with. rofl

FWIW, with all the living I have done in those forty years, I have never caught anything more serious than a case of the crabs way back in the 80's

who has been where just by reviews. In this business, you have to assume we have all been around the world...literally. We have probably been exposed to an STD, been with men or women who have offered bbfs at times, and been with a TS or someone they have been with. Bottom line...protect yourself by always assuming the person in front of you is a damn germ farm because you simply don't know!

I try to avoid bbfs seekers and those they frequent, but there is no way to really know 100 percent who has what, and who has been with whom. Thinking any differently is naive and dangerous.

crazyshit182 reads

Then that's a totally different story than making the assumption.  Here you have some pretty evidence in my example.

Of course it's naive to think you can judge a provider's sexual history by her reviews.  You can't.  But when it's staring at you in the face, I think that's a completely different issue.  Same as if I knew a provider was had fucked a guy who was bisexual.  She would be off my list entirely.

Condoms and protection are like car insurance.  You never wanna depend on that as the sole thing to protect you, but you need to have it.  You hope to God you never need to depend on it (e.g. you are fucking someone who has an STD), but in the event you do, you hope the condom does its job.

don't feel comfortable with. I have been told I should do bbfs because assuming I am not with guys who do it with other hookers is naive. Well, I don't assume anything but I don't have to go out looking for guys who make it obvious this is a pattern of activity either. We all have our little quirks I guess. I would rather go after a provider who uses condoms (fully) with a TS, than a provider who does bbfs with straight guys.

If I saw a provider that I KNEW had BBFS with guys, I wouldn't see her.  Simple as that.

hotplants149 reads

But the question here is would you have sex with provider that you knew had seen a guy, who has seen a TS.

If everyone was being "fair"? It would not be the case that every time this question comes up, the majority jump on the wagon claiming that Transgendered providers (or bi-sexual men) are the 'obvious' source of STD's (read that as HIV).
