While we were sitting there on Sat Mornings watching Howdie, Fury (with Peter Graves - before he accepted those missions), the Beave..., Soupy Sales, Sky King, Roy Rogers, the Cisco Kid, The Lone Ranger, and Fran Kookla and Olie... and all the other "little rascals" on TV in those days... did you ever dream of the Hobby!?   I can honestly say, that at one point when I was about 13-16 I did!

I must admit... the first time I thought about paying for it was when I was in college.... but didn't - then the 70's happened and anyone could get layed... even me! lol!

When my sexuality began to assert itself and I began to find out about prostitution, the idea of it immediately turned me on.  

I liked the simplicity of it; the fact that after the deal was struck there were no other complications, and I immediately thought it would be more uninhibited that way.  Sex otherwise seemed extremely over-complicated to me at that age.

What you've pointed out is interesting in other ways: we were raised on shows that depicted life without sex.  So, for me, I had a double life.  One in which sex was mentally completely avoided, and one in which I could think of nothing else.
