Have you or haven't you?
Would you or wouldn't you?
Say,"I do",that is.
twice and --if I ended up divorced or (Gd forbid) widowed-- would do it again.
Shortest sentence: I am.
Longest sentence: I do.![]()
Ladies,,,this includes you!
And no,I'm not available!,,,,LOL!
I did. I probably won't again. Final answer. Simple enough.

in 1977. It lasted for 2 years. Since then I've had several longer and heppier cohabiting relationships without the "I do" bit. So, I would say that I am highly unlikely to again.
Only ONE precept could persuade me to do it again.
SHE GOTTA BE PROFANELY WEALTHY!!
And, no pre-nup!
or if I do it won't be in this country. Not because of American women, but because of the ability of American divorce courts to separate you from your money.
I did do, I do.
I want to do, I do.
I will do, I do.
Do it to me one more time
Once is never enough
with a man like you
I do I do I do I do, yes I do.

It was really important to him or if we were having a baby.
Marriage is a contract that (as demonstrated over and over and over and over and over and over again) might not have any bearing on love, commitment, fidelity and trust. If two individuals are financialy secure, both intend on working and it is of no benefit to combine their assets, then marriage might not be the best bet.
To me not getting married for love and romance is similar to the same reason I have never smoked marijuana (or used any other drug for that matter). I see people getting high and they didn't seem any happier, smarter or better off than when sober. Plus, they just wasted a whole lot of money with nothing to show for it.

Maybe cause i'm young and haven't gotten all jaded and cynical like y'all yet.
I still believe in eternal love, chivalry, love at first sight, and all that nonsense. Crucify me if you will and call me a hopeless romantic but I believe my soulmate is out there somewhere. hehe.
SO YES TO "I DO!"
B
I'm on my 3rd marriage. The 2nd marriage was a total mistake because she turn 180 degrees from who she was before we were married to afterward. The first marriage was very good for the first 12 years, then not so good the last several, but I took away allot of positive life experiences from it. The present marriage has some problems, but overall there are more positive life experiences than negative. Don't become jaded, but know what you want in a man, tell him, and if he makes a promise and fails to keep it, even a little thing like calling you or picking you up at a certain time, call him on it. How he responds will tell you how trustworthy he is.
Brooke....don't let the turkeys get you down! Im with you - I still believe in true love. A lot of people who are "jaded" have been hurt.....that colors their view on the subject. People like to say "50% of marriages end in divorce"....okay, that means 50% succeed. Hell, you can't even get those kinds of odds in vegas!
Okay admittingly probably not the best forum to propose nor did I ever meet you, but you seem like a wonderful girl so why not. ![]()
No but honestly I still believe in that too. I have never been married, but I still am relatively young and have time to find that one true love. Yeah I guess some might say I am naive for that, but I am just not willing to give up yet. And while I search for it, I will be around here having my fun. So I say yes to I do.
And Brooke maybe we meet someday (you so live on the wrong coast) until then all the best and may true love find you one day.
can she cook?
I have, 3 times.
I am not currently.
I am not interested in going there again.
For the most part - two great kids to show for it, a bunch of pictures and an ex who as ex's go is not so bad.
the down side, I really miss being married - but not to her. I loved the concept of sharing life's ups and downs... the good, the bad the crazy. That was good.
Not the same with an escort - although a couple have come close - in terms of sharing...
but to be honest, even sharing with an escort, now scares me... even escorts I trust, admine, and like being with... just guess that I am relationship shy, even as I pursue a civie one...
Hi L, well you are in LLLOOOOOVVVVEEEE!!!!! I dont think ill ever say it, although romantically it is a fun idea. The realist in me says look at the statisics. Why cant you just be together in a committed relationship without all the other BS? Maybe im a little jaded from being single so long, basically i think everyonce in a while it can work, your choice sweetie, just go slow and see what happens, takes a LONG time to really know what someone is all about ya know? Good luck, i hope i did not put too much of a damper on things : )
never ever ever again, most miserable times of my life
Marriage is an institution, and I'm not ready for an institution!
Well technically I did .. but at that time I literally did not speak one word of English ... so does it count?
)
Despite the giant divorce statistics, the sad tales of marital woe I hear in this business, and my own misgivings about my ability to sustain a truly LTR, I would given the right person at the right time.
Hey, at least I know some problems to watch out for! ![]()
I asked a lady to marry me once. Then I sobered up the next day!
EOM!!!
