True there are a lot of ads on Craig’s list to look through but it is not impossible to find an honest provider, I found two very lovely ladies on cl. If you are new to the “hobby” I would stick to a provider that has reviews.
I've had great times with Craig's List girls so maybe I just lucked out. About 4 or 5 of my favorite girls regularly advertise on Craig's List even if they are TER members and have websites.
It sucks weeding through the bots for webcams and porn sites and there are always the girls with fake pics and quite a few crooks. TER reviews have helped greatly.
As with anything in this hobby, you are bound to have a better time if you do your homework first.
If the provider does not have a eros ad or city vibe ad I won't see her. Once in a while I will take one for the team. I have been lucky so far to find some good ones.

I've spent a lot of time responding to ads that never went anywhere, too, so be prepared to spend a good deal of time wading through the crap to find the good ones. It does depend on where you are, too -- Seattle, Portland, and the SF Bay Area all seem to have pretty solid lists of ladies that advertise there.
Get that TER app installed to your browser and then highlight the phone number and right click while on Craigs List to find records in TER. Works like a charm. No records found? Whats that tell you? Puts a SMILE on ya face!
I'm a new provider (about 2.5 months) & I started by posting on CL, so I can't knock it. I'm a very honest provider & I'm slowly getting reviews here as well as a few other sites. If nobody had taken a chance & seen me from my CL reviews I wouldn't have ever even known about TER nor would I have ever known about "reviews". Yes, there are some honest good girls posting on CL.
It is really annoying especially when your significant other is in the next room.
I Love craigs list i have found several providers there who were great and they had no reviews. Go figure
I had my pictures and name used by an agency to grow their business. I found out about it when a new client mentioned he found me on Craigslist. He showed me the ad, and it was crazy. He said from the ad he checked my reviews, linked onto my actual site and contacted me directly.
However, it seems some not so internet savvy gentlemen have been tricked and victims of B&S.

CL gets bashed alot here on ter, but in Reno, it's not bad. We seem to get alot of travelers around here anyway, and it'd probably safer than working east 4th street. LE busts it once in a while though. It's really not that hard to spot the garbage if you're willing to spend some time researching.
Occasionally I find legit girls who are just trying to drum up extra business when traffic on their sites is slow. Also I've found a couple of gems in there as well as some total ripoffs. You have to just check them out and see. Do a search on TER for their numbers and or email addies and sites.
CL Erotic Services section is a mine field and the explosives are everywhere and so you have to step lightly and know where to go and how to navigate it.
