Several years ago before the internet I had my first experience with an agency girl, and it was great, My second time was not so good it was hit and miss for several years until I met my first independent. After that I vowed to stay with independents. Lately I have seen on here and other boards some hot looking agency girls with great reviews, and the agencies also have good reviews.
My question is. Has this changed?

Hey. In some places.. It is the best, and sometimes only good option.
I don't do it, so I can't comment on that.

From checking out your reviews it looks that you and I both play in  large market areas. From what I get from here things are getting better in these areas with what I call agencies. Now help out an old dog and tell me what is the difference  between an Agency & a Booking agent.

...I'm ok with either one. Whether agency or independent it's reputation that matters. There are good and bad in both. Read reviews, read posts, ask questions, contact guys through PM, ie Do your research. Then choose who you want to see and within your comfort level do what it takes to see them.

There are even some agencies that have both good and bad providers. Nothing has changed. Things have pretty much always been like that and always will be. Do your research and choose wisely.

That's two threads in a row I said almost the exact same thing as you. I typed my reply before reading yours. Should have just read your and said "Ditto" or "plus 1" LOL. Great minds think alike.

Indie girls are more personal when getting to know one another on the phone or email.  Plus, we get to go over our time if we feel like it

that I am dealing with a real, live human being who has freedom of will and action makes the whole experience of meeting with an Indy seem more personal and less transactional than when dealing with an agency. At least it does for me!

I'm not crazy about the idea of being #4 for the day with an agency girl who is essentially caged up in a hotel room and told to screw whoever comes through the door.  At least indies get a chance to personally check a guy out and say no if they want to.  One girl I know (indy) tells me some pretty scary stories about guys that wanted to see her before she understood how to screen effectively.  She would look through a peephole and check the guy out, sending quite a few away for various reasons.
