I'm not pleased.  I just made contact with a lady who sounded so good and who's web site had a nice touch.  I was looking for an extended dinner date with time to really get to know her since she was positioned as the "ultimate GFE".

I began the screening process with an e-mail which was followed up with a phone conversation.  I noticed the husky voice and the telltail cough, so I asked if she was a smoker since her TER reviews state that she is not.  She told me that she doesn't on short dates but since I was going to be taking her out to eat and spend several hours that she would likely have to smoke.

Why do smokers think that it's no big deal to not mention this?  There is the "yes but not during session" response so why the deception?  I like DFK and have come to think that it is part of the GFE providing I present myself as acceptable.  But DFK with a smoker is just plain YUK IMHO.

who claimed they weren't smokers, but then when we went for a bit longer session they did end up smoking. And not only  that I am the same way that I just don't want someone who smokes PERIOD!  I don't want to taste, smell or breathe smoke during my session with her.....it's not just a matter  whether she smokes in front of me --It's still on her during our session so I only see non smokers.

smoker or not during an one hour session.  Unless a number of reviewers specifically mentioned in the detail of a review, it is difficult to change a lady's initial profile setting from "Non-Smoker" to "Yes but not during session".

I do not smoke in the presence of a non-smoker, provider or otherwise.  If the provider is a smoker and feels the need to have a smoke during the session, I have no objections.  But if the question is asked by a prospective client, and it's important to him, than I believe that an honest answer is in order.  It seems to me that Tattletail's provider in his post did the correct thing by being up front about a long date scenario.  The fact that it was not reported in her TER review only shows that she is respectful enough not to subject her dates to second-hand smoke unless they have no objection, and in all liklihood was never asked by the reviewers because it wasn't an issue under the circumstances.

I've had a few providers show up at my door smelling like they've had just smoked a pack of cigarettes on their way over.
Not a problem for the ladies that don't allow kising, but for the ones that do, it's a big turn-off for me.

I see ads from providers who ONLY see "clean and well-groomed" clients.

Well, is it too much to ask the same from them?

That part is fine if they don't smoke and you are just having dinner or even doing doggie.  There are two tiers to this beyond second hand smoke for me.  One is the telltail smell on their clothes and in their hair.  That too can be taken care of with carefull attention to detail.  But I think that smokers can't detect these smells and even if they do, don't seem to consider them offensive.  The other is that there is a breath and taste residual that you can't possibly disguise from DFK'g no matter what you swallow or gargle with or what ever...and I swear that the chemicals have permiated the person to the point that the taste "down there" is also affected.

I appreciated this provider being honest with me but I had to ask when I heard the coughing and voice quality, it wasn't voluntary.  In the past I have been foolish enough to assume that the "no" in the smoker profile response was accurate.  The 6 hour dinner date I had set up was a total bust.  Refund my donation?  Are you joking?  And such good reviews...could have been great.

An asside that I found amusing was that during the phone conversation she told me about how healthy whe was and that she was in touch with her body and was very spiritual and into alternative healing and vegitarian and ......ad infinitum.  Yet Ms heathy is a smoker!?!  And there were other health isues that she volunteered which relate to smoking but which I will keep in confidence.  Amazing.

Would love to quit but I fuckin' smoke. I love a cig after dinner and after a good hump. I try like hell to not have her smell it but it sounds like despite my best efforts, she must.

I spray the shit outta my car with "Blessed Pine", I swallow Listerene by the gallon, I've always got a mint going but what I'm hearing here is, a nonsmoker can still smell it.

Well, bless her heart. I told her in no uncertain terms she has the right to object if she found it uncomfortable and she knows I mean it. But she ain't said shit and still kisses the hell outta me and is willing to go driving in my car.

The chick knows how to keep this customer happy.

Look at what was just said here.  All that effort to work around the issue and a big sigh of relief that everything is still OK.

BK, there are folks who care about you.  Do yourself and them all a big favor and quit this year.  Your "squeeze" will still hang with you and you can take her to dinner on the $ you'll save on cigs and mints and mouthwash and car spray.

I know I'm preaching, but I've seen some horrible things in my day.  And not one of the patients has ever said it was worth all worth it.  And their loved ones....

I once had an affair with a smoker who told me that she really didn't have to smoke and never did around me.  And that included one motel romp where we didn't see the light of day for at least 8 hours.

After all was said and done and we had had our fill of sex with eachother there really were no other ties so we stopped seeing eachother.  But one big reason to end it for me was that no matter how long we were at it and no matter how long it had been, I could still taste her and smell her habit. From somewhere deep down inside her it was still there.

Smoking increases your risk of cervical and rectal cancer. Smoking ages you. Women are 2-6 times more likely to get heart disease if they smoke. Healty my eye!

I certainly don't want to condone the smoking. In fact this year the struggle to stop has begun in earnest. It is just becoming incompatible with the way I am living.

I know me. I have had battles with other demons. Ones that have landed me in jails and on the street. I don't stop nothing till I'm ready. In regards to smoking. I'm ready now.

What I was expressing though is my gratitude for the fact that "my squeeze" spends the time and gives the attention, despite the obvious foul smell. My best efforts to shield her, notwithstanding. It says something about her and for that matter, any of the girls I swap spit with.

Or maybe it just speaks to my irresisibility...

For the record... I quit smoking on October 27th, so I've made it 9 weeks... well in advance of New Years! And I have to say that I do finally understand what all the nonsmokers fuss is about because I honestly cannot stand the smell of it anymore.  WOW, what a difference. I guess I have my nose back :)

To all the smokers out there I just have to say... the WORST part of quitting is THINKING about it BEFORE you do it. I am an addict and I will always be an addict but I positively refuse to ever smoke another ciggarette again.

Happy New Year!

It has been a lifesaver for me. I mean it does not get rid of the mental desire to smoke but it surely helps with the physical cravings. This is for the rest of your life, no reason why not to give yourself all the help you can!

Hang in there and CONGRATS! :)
