X now has a feature where you click on the "joined" date and it will give you "account based in" info. Obviously not fool proof if they are using a VPN, but for now you can see if they are actually in the US or in a data mining center in a 3rd world country.

A lot of big Twitter accounts routinely outsource shit to India etc. For all the celebrity/company Twitter accounts most of them are ran by hired people and often are outsourced as well.  

 
Same goes for оnlyfans. Someone with over a few thousands of followers is likely never communicating personally. You think you might chatting with the model but it actually probably is a dude from India.  

 
And there's VPN and other tcp proxy shenanigans.

 
Either way, it definitely was an interesting thing they turned on. I'd expect big Twitter accounts would at least use VPN but I guess they got caught slippin.
