Cell Phone Spying technology concerns are popping up on the internet selling the hype of real-time listening or viewing of another persons confidential cell phone content.

The several companies listed promise a simple to follow download from their website onto your own computer then by transferring the program onto YOUR own cellphone will immediately give you the ability to begin spying on any other cell phone that you choose. Just think of the possibilities.

The program will allow you to connect to ANYONE'S cellphone remotely without them knowing that you are there. Its guaranteed that you will leave absolutely NO evidence on THEIR phone what-so-ever that you were there.

With these products You are able to listen in on their live cell calls, read all of their emails and text messages even the ones that were deleted. You can track their internet surfing practices, gather passwords and account numbers and even activate their GPS so that you are able to track their every movement.

How the hell is this not considered wire-tapping or remotely legal and acceptable in this day and age ???

Has anyone else stumbled onto these websites ???

i bet the feds designed it and someone stole it.

...as possible before they are all shut down.

Back in the nineties, when cell phones were first becoming common, you could listen in with a police scanner with a special antenna.

When you are on any kind of cordless device, you are BROADCASTING.  Anyone can receive your transmission.

you'd expect her to be waiting behind the door?

Wanna by a bridge, too?

Give me an effin break! PLEASE!

The technology you are talking about is real and can verify through aquaintances that I know does work. Its has been out there for a long time. At first when cell phones  just made calls people used scanners to listen into conversations and pin tones. Since then cell phones have becpme smart phones linked to the internet. (cell providers say that their built in firewalls prevent what you are speaking of from happening but they don't) Now that smart phones are just small computers its very easy to get anyones personal information. Follow my advice and get your personal smart phone encrypted from a private company and get a throw away for the hobby.

i remember seeing it on the news a few years back. not sure if it was exactly what you are referring to because you did have to install something on the persons phone. but then you can see everything they do, you can even call the other persons phone to listen in on what they are saying! all untraceable to someone who wouldn't know what to look for. and no, the phone did not ring, and would not show anything, and it would stop that feature when the person used there phone service. crazy stuff.

Actually a couple of facts are missing but the most important one is that in order to access a phone's usage data, microphone, camera, etc. you must first install a "spy" app on the target phone. You cannot target any phone you wish remotely. You must first have physical access to the targeted phone.

This is why it is important to NEVER let anyone borrow or look at your phone, not even for just a few seconds.

Secondly, not all phones can be targeted. Basically, not all phones are "smart enough", but this barrier is disappearing month by month as phones become more sophisticated.

Enable automatic lock and use a password.

The thing you don't have to worry about is someone paying $19.95 at some website, putting in your cell number and PRESTO!

You'll have better luck giving your money to some internet ad to make your dick 4 inches longer in 4 days.

...of keeping an eye on your children in order to keep them safe or tabs on the spouse who may be straying.

Asking the question how it is possible that these programs are allowed in this country refers to those that sit in power. I'm referring to those that stand to lose the most... Politicians, Celebrities, Judges, Law Enforcement and you and I.

If this technology has been around for so long why haven't those that enact legislation and certainly stand to lose a great deal not put a stop to it ?

Da guv does have the means, but we're just a bunch of mongers and hos and aren't really hurting anyone but each other.

I mean seriously. No one knows about us but us and the guv. And half the guv do it too, so WTF?

Really think they want their self-righteous peers involved in their shit?

We got the 'wink-wink' deal going on.

Same as in business, and here also.

It's not who you know, but who you blow.

are going to have one fucking great time in a few weeks when you visit her in Vegas.  Is that shit about your new meds making your dick grow 2" longer really true?  Just sayin ........

Cuz actually I was talking with a lady last night about seeing her here in the very near future.

But as far as the 2" longer deal, nah, I was just trying to put the fear of God into her!

Well, that's who she'll be calling out to when..... ;)

If you give a cellphone to your kids, and are paying for it, shouldn't you have the ability to monitor usage?  Also, if you are an employer providing a cellphone to employees for business use, shouldn't you have the ability to monitor usage to be sure those under your employment are using the phone you provide in compliance with the standards you set, and not using company resources for reasons that may be illegal, and potentially expose the organization to criminal or civil liability, e.g., hobbying?

Conclusion: there are legitimate reasons for such software to exist, and be legal.  If you want to remain private, it is up to you to purchase and secure your own cellphone, laptop, and other tech devices that YOU own, and control.

These apps cannot be installed remotely in a drive-by fashion legitimately: if it could, LE would have busted us all long ago, and there would be no hobby.
