Recently, a gentleman was chewing gum throughout the entire appointment.  

When he did DATY, I began to feel tingly/sensitive and then uncomfortable.

So the strange sensations are normal reactions, I'd say. By all means check with your doc at your convenience, but I don't expect there would be long-term effects, any more than there would be from trying snuff.

A gent told me after a playdate that I had made him feel tingling sensations he had never felt before.  Much as I would have liked it to be the result of my amazing skills, I later realized that it must have been my peppermint lip gloss.

actually I am a pharmacist.  If the only effect was a slight tingling or sensation, I would say it was just a localized effect.  If you had absorbed any appreciable amount of nicotine, you would have actually felt it in increased heart rate and dry mouth.  Hmmm wonder if it would cause decreased secretions other places....maybe this is what you felt.
