I have seen some ads of stunning black ladies and I can idenitfy exactly what attracts me. A cute face and a great looking ass, no outstanding world class ass of which a black woman can have and is rarely matched. Skeptical about seeing an ebony provider. Yea, maybe and I don't know why, not really. Maybe deep down I think I might not be treated as well. As well as what I'm not sure.

I know. I'm being a smartass. The fact of the matter is, I don't give a flying fuck what color, race, religion, what-fucking-ever a lady is in those respects.

Look, I'm a middle-aged white guy, 43. Half Spanish, other Heinz-57. First review was with an ebony lady. Would love to see her again. Since then have seen a certain ebony lady numerous times. She's a dear friend of mine I talk with constantly. Actually hurts my feelings if I go a day without hearing her voice.

We make plans to see eachother, and she referred me to another ebony lady even.

Like I said, I'm 43 years old. I know this sounds like shit, but I've always been around black people. As well as Hispanic, Oriental, whatever. My dad was in the armed forces and he made a lot of friends along the way when I was a child. We moved, and met people in the same situation. You stuck together.

Color, or religion, or WTF was never a consideration. Everybody came from the same place.

So, if I see a beautiful lady, I don't think 'oh, she's black.' or 'oh. she's oriental.' Or whatever. I see a beautiful WOMAN. If we meet, it's up to her to decide if I think she's ugly or not.

I recently started hobbying (less than 6 months).  My first was an Ebony girl.  And she was fantastic.  She was soft spoken, educated, and spoke regular English.  Perhaps, some hobbyists are afraid of the Ghetto-type, Ebonics-speaking stereotypes.  But among the several other Ebony girls I've visited, none fit that stereotype either.  I had such a good experience with that first provider, that she also became my first repeat.  In my short time hobbying, I would say about 30% of the providers I've seen were Ebony, or mixed Ebony.

Growing up there was something about them
that didn't attract me as much.Maybe the texture of their hair, or their complexion that turned me off.Maybe its a false stereotype, that so many people express about their intelligence being on the dumb side. I have forced myself when given the opportunity, and if I was in a pinch, but I like it better if they just have more fun without me. I'm just not into blondes.
Most of my civilian GFs have been Ebony,Asian,or Latina and thats exactly how I like my providers.

It's a great question and I hope you get the answers you want. I can't speak for others, but I've been equal opportunity. I do know some hobbyists that think ebony providers shouldn't ask for the same rates and I asked an ebony provider about that and she confirmed that lots of Caucasian hobbyists ask her to lower her rates. They didn't give her a reason, but they asked, almost without fail as she recounted her experiences. One of the things that I find odd is some ebony providers pretend to have a mixed heritage because they assume it will attract more responses to their ads. Like many providers, many hobbyists don't care about that and if you present yourself in a way that makes us think you just didn't hop off the bus, I think there should be no question about being ebony, your rates or any of that other useless fodder. Whether hobbyists don't see ebony providers because of race or something else is unfortunately apart of the American landscape. I've not heard any "horror" stories and I've even ventured into questionable neighborhoods, but I've never had trouble or anything that would dissuade me from going to see them again. I did cancel an appointment with an ebony provider once because her handler/pimp called me and tried to change the rate I was quoted before he would give me the room number. He backed away from his demand, but I didn't change my mind and bolted from the scene.

Lately, couldn't find one that I like.

I've been hobbying for 5 years. In the first two years I saw several ebonies whom I like. One of them is more like a friend now. However, since then I couldn't find anyone that I like. A lot of ebonies advertise in CL and BP and I don't go there anymore. With the exception of one I saw a few months ago who unfortunately only does rub-and-tug, the ebony ladies came across as too "ghetto" for my taste. Even the ones who advertise on TER presented such persona; perhaps they created it to attract clients.

Where did they find their horror story women? I just looked through the rip off reviews. We are under represented there. We are also in small numbers on the internet hobby sites overall. Unfortunately, those men who made those comments to you probably picked up a street walker. It's a sad reality but street walkers are not known for being reputable.

Probably every African American provider has heard that same line and most of us hear it several times a day. If you get stuck on the race thing you will go insane.

I can tell you to maintain a professionally done website, watch your health, work out, if you have not finished college go back and knock out your degree(s), pay your taxes, update your photos often, make sure your rates reflect your ability to provide the type of session that would command that rate...YOUR RACE NOT WITHSTANDING....bc when you go to book a flight for a tour the airlines are not going to give you a discount bc you are black, no one is going to cut the cost of the hotel room bc you are black, no one is going to discount you anything...that is what you tell someone who will eventually ask you to lower your rates bc of your skin tone. Take care of your health, take some time off when you need to, and have fun!

Don't stress out over a few people.

It is easy to chalk it up to racism. When it really comes down to it, it is all about attraction, not race. Most men and women are attracted to certain types and if you ask them, they won't be able to explain. Don't believe if a hobbyst finds someone attractive, race would not be consideration.

As far as what is said, people do have open mouth insert foot problem and that goes for all races without discrimination.

I would for something(lady)that absolutely floors me aesthetically. Por ejemplo, I used to think Marilyn McCoo was hot in my youth.

To think that you are supposed to get wet listening to someone insult your race and then expect to get credit for conspiring to have you join him in his denigration is a sad commentary on the public state of things, but there you are.

i have no horror stories at all...

it is simply a matter of consistent failure to connect. either there are scheduling issues or i feel that there is not much interest on her side so i back off. i got as close as seening one lady when she canceled the day before.

it parallels the "real world" in many ways. in my personal life outside the hobby i have had least success with ebony ladies.

I actually had all my poor experiences with white girls.  A hot lady is a hot lady.  The only woman who took my breath away was a woman of color.  

IMHO, a gentleman should read the reviews, look at the pictures & only see ladies he's attracted to.

Actually the above goes for ALL ladies. The real answer is many ebony ladies talk trash, act like trash, dress like trash, because they watch too much trash on tv, and in many cases have been treated like trash by men in their lives. So why would you expect anything different from them. I am not saying all ebony ladies are like that but their path to the hobby may not have been a pretty one. All I can say is it is fairly easy to see the beauty of a classy lady past her skin color. To those ladies when can we meet?

And by my type I mean they have a body and face that I'm attracted to, but also aren't your typical CL/BP type girl. I don't see those girls regardless of race. As far as I've seen there's only one ebony provider in my area that comes close, and I think she travels most of the time. But another thing that really scares me is that the CDC reports that 48% of black women between the ages of 14 and 49 have genital herpes. I assume that the percentage is even higher among providers, and I don't like those odds.

It makes no difference to me at all, as long as she has class. I have dated ebony ladies in my civvie life  (including one with a PhD) , and as a hobbyist I e.g. enjoyed Victoria Lane, a most wonderful provider.

Reading your original post reminded me of the folks who have nothing but negativity to spew about average Black folks but "aren't racist" because their favorite basketball player is Michael Jordan, or they watch Oprah or had dinner at the same table as a Black guy once or whatever.  The statement you hear from 80% is a backhanded compliment at best.

There's a vast cultural diversity amongst African-Americans themselves, and it gets even more true when you consider West Indians, Africans, etc.  Whatever truth stereotypes have at their roots, drawing any conclusions about anybody based solely on the color of their skin is a straight up mark of stupidity.  

I'm not sure I even qualify as a hobbyist considering how rarely I get down, but I'm neither skeptical about visiting women of color, nor have I ever chosen not to.  Quite the opposite, in fact.  And I must say, each of the ladies I had the pleasure of meeting was sharp, memorable and absolutely unique.  Am I just lucky?  Who care, as long as my streak stays intact.

One under this name and several others under other names.  This also might sound odd (i.e. stereotypical), but I find, generally, ebony providers bring a better "game".  I find them to be more comfortable with themselves and more sexually expressive, generally.  Go ahead, let me have it.

I understand where you are coming from.  I'm a black man who fancy all types.  However, I can say that this hobby comes with its share of risks and challenges.  For the sake of space, I'm only going to speak to my experiences with ebony women.   I've had great experiences with all women including ebony women; a couple of which keep me consistent company.  My worst experiences have been with ebony women as well.  I've had money stolen from me, treats, dangerous neighborhoods, angry attitude and such.  After my last ebony experience (where she took the money and didn't want to offer the time), I decided not to go with ebony providers for the time being.  It also turns me off when ebony women claim heritage from other races (latina, etc.) when you clearly see they are not.  Be proud - no reason to apologize for being ebony - it's a blessing.  It's hard to get into someone who misrepresents themselves for whatever reason.

is one of the whitest states in the US.  My southeast home: just the opposite, as you'd likely expect.

During many years growing up in the southeast, I heard every racial slur going.  Racism was a cloud over EVERYTHING.  

When I visited the northeast, people couldn't comprehend the barest utterences of those slurs or actions.

I now live in the northeast, and have for the nearly 30 years since high school.  My reviews are ALL of caucasian ladies, though I did see two ebony ladies when I first began hobbying.  One was very young, and a mistake for me (due to immaturity, not color), and the other was a complete professional whose company I enjoyed immensely at the time, and whose board presence I still enjoy.

For me, like others have stated, it's simply a matter of what floats my boat.  Recently I had a dialog with a well-regarded ebony provider in the DC area, but we couldn't work the schedule out.  I WILL see her at some point...she appears to have all the qualities that I desire when I meet a provider, and her communications let me know clearly that she is a VERY bright young lady.

Though racism was rampant in my "southeast" family, I can honestly say that the balance brought on by my "norhteast" family helped exorcise it from within me.  I look forward to meeting more providers "of color".  Sometimes I wonder if it's only to prove that that exorcism has actually taken place, or if it's a curiosity, or what, but I AM attracted to those that fit my desires.

I have seen 2 ebony providers. The first was one of my first experiences and she was perhaps and still is in the top 3 of my ATF list. Just an amazing young lady. She was many years wiser than her 24 years of age. She has retired and gone back to school.

My seond esperience with an ebony provider was horible. It was like a trip to the hood gone bad. Bad section of town, brothers hanging out in front of the house. She was much too street wise for me. No passion, just sex and get it over with, take the money and run.

I have contacted an ebony proivider for a trip I have planned in a few weeks. So far based on e-mails things are looking like we will have a great time. I like ladies of all colors, shapes and sizes.

I really have no answer to the question you pose. Except...if you have not figured this out yet all of us of the male species...no matter what race...are  rather flawed.   Perhaps the comments are an expression of nervousness.  At any rate , they are indeed idiotic...but then again , so are we.

I am a computer/business geek.   I am socially awkward.  I talk to maybe 2 or 3 civvie women a day, TOPS.  I don't even talk to the hot receptionist.  Most of the folk I talk to are nerdy, pasty skinned whites, asians, and dark skinned indians.  I am not an anthropologist.  I don't study cultures and races for fun.   I don't care to learn about people.   I don't care if my employees are blue, silver, black, red, green, or mauve.  Hell, I don't even make eye contact most of the time.   All I care is they write the code and bring me my fucking money.

But I have a LOT of exposure to Hip-Hop music, so I have a subconscious link between black women and hip hop.  I love hip hop music.  I love the creativity, swagger, and style of rappers.

I don't know, I just don't find the girls in this video I linked to that attractive.

Ebony Companions

I have found that most of my clients love, the fact that I am ebony. However, I do get the question what  are you, once they see me they are excited.

As an educated and honestly advertised ebony woman, I've got to say I enjoyed reading all responses. Even the not so positive. All I can say is that not all ebony women are true to the stereotypes. I personally challenge all apprehensive men to try a well reviewed ebony out. In my case, I'm confident that I could kill the stereotypes quickly! Don't want to come off as cocky, but I feel I hold more intelligence and worth than a large percent of providers regardless of race due to my education and professional experience. I'm also intelligent enough not to get offended by not so positive thoughts about ebony women because as service providers, we can not be categorized. My conversation is mine. My body is mine. The taste of my vagina is mine. A woman that shares my skin color or race does not share those characteristics. To make an assumption on quality based on race is unjust!

I'm not knocking those who flat out aren't attracted to black women. Afterall the point of meeting with a provider is to be turned on in companionship. Just not in favor of those who stay away based on stereotypes.

I live in the south and most Ebony ladies advertising are BBW, and so not really my type of body.
I see some skinny ones too, but they don't have the curves.  I'm still lookin for someone in the middle. So I have not tried.  I have tried several Asians with darker skin, but not Black.

However, what's attractive to me is a more tone body, big eyes, full lips and nice racks and ass.
I haven't found the perfect one.  Ebony ladies I've seen that get me hard are in Porn films and some actress.  I continue to search for one.  Would love to try.
