The article is dated 2003.  The link is not to CNN.  A search of the CNN website shows no such article.

...given some of the names they thought up --"Lictepeen?" as in "lick the PEEN-is." Someone put a lot of inspired thought into this, even if it is a fake.

OTOH, maybe I should forward this to a couple of ex-girlfriends -- might be worth a shot to see if they buy into it!

Anyway, I think you should give it a chance before you give up completely on it.  You may be sampling from unhealthy males.  From wikipedia:

"The level of fructose in the semen is measured. WebMD lists normal as at least 3 mg/mL.[2] WHO specifies a normal level of 13 μmol per sample. Absence of fructose may indicate a problem with the seminal vesicles"
