Would the frequent flyer program work in this service???

Airlines have used it affectively to lock customers into booking on one airline? Wonder if a program like this would work in this industry?? Earn points...(LOL!!)

I'm not sure about other providers, but I offer "Repeat Offender" rates.  If I have a client that sees me regularly... Let's say twice a month, he may get a special rate.... The catch, though, is that if he misses an appointment, he goes back to the normal rate.

Just my .02

Exactly! Good business deserves perks! I agree, regulars
get my frequent flyer rate too......kiss!

A number of local providers I've seen do it a little differently;  They offer a big discount on pre-purchased blocks of time.  For instance, you might get 5 hours (normally $1500) for $1000 by paying in advance, and then you're free to use the hours individually or for multiple hours.  Obviously, the risk is borne by you that the provider will stay in business and/or take your calls, so you have to use it carefully.

I also see a provider who has an "I like you" rate, where if you're fun and well-behaved on the first date, you get a lower rate on subsequent dates.  This isn't publicized, so you don't know this going in, but it is a nice surprise.  I was not particularly well-behaved so it was quite a surprise.  ;^)

And in case she's reading this: I'm not planning on being any better behaved next time either!

Those kahona's needs a spankin my dear :P

Yes, many providers offer discounts to those they want to see again.  It's easier, no checking of info... know what you're getting into.  In your case OZ... I'd say it's a pleasure getting into "you"

I ALWAYS give repeat client discounts. It is good business to keep you happy and me happy. I am more comfortable with repeat friends, I know their likes and dislikes.  I try to make all my friends feel special and this is a good way to do it.

I hear what you are saying.. But I was thinking more like you rack up a certain number of hours/miles and you get a trip to..

Maybe this is the same thing that everyone is saying.. just a different form of discount.. But I was thinking that to incent regulars to fly a certain amount of miles in a specific time period you get x.

#1-I had a promotion Sept 02' it was called the F.M.C. card it was a  "Frequent Mara Card" pre-pay that gave a substantial discount for 5 1hr visits for $1k + the client would pay for the room. The card had no experation and could be used all at once or one at a time. This is how I was able to save so quickly for the down payment on my house.
It was a win/win for everybody.
#2-The second thing I did was after the 3rd visit, on the fourth I would give an additonal 1hr to the booked appt. This was as a thank you for choosing me to spend time with.
#1 was the most successful, I think it was imediately you can see the savings.
