I read the worst review on the front page first. I figure the service can't be worse then that...
Back in December I saw a provider who made a big deal on her site about her shapely long legs. I'm a leg guy, and her photos clinched the deal.
When I saw her, I was a bit disappointed as her legs weren't very shapely. She had probably backed off on the gym a bit, as they were much thicker than in her photos. They looked more like piano legs.
Not a big deal, but I did mention in the review that her legs didn't look like the photos on her site.
The next three reviews came within weeks of mine, and all conspicuously made mention of her killer legs. They almost sounded like they were written by the same person, or at least the parts about her legs sounded that way.
Do providers ever have friends or regulars write reviews to counter negative comments made by other reviewers? This just can't be coincidence

It could also be that these gentlemen noticed your review on their own and took it upon themselves to write a more positive review, without any conversation with her on the matter.
I don't think there's any way you can find out for certain whether it is coincidence or not.
Oh, and not to start up anything, but I once received an email from a service that claimed to write/submit positive reviews FOR A FEE.
So what you noticed could be any of the above, or simple coincidence based on the other reviewers' opinions of the lady.
BTW, since when does "shapely legs" mean "muscular legs" ??
I'm an old-movie fan and have always thought that Betty Grable had the best, shapeliest legs ever, but I wouldn't call them muscular.

I've come across the same thing many times.
In one instance I saw a provider who claimed she was 38, big time workout person, healthy living life coach
Got to her place, she smokes heavily, the place smelled like multiple cats and her daughters were probably 38
The service was very good so I gave an average review, mentioned some of the issues.
Next thing I know there are three superb reviews extolling her in every way possible.
Mine was accurate and not unkind.
Manipulation I wrote a review about a provider who ran the clock down by talking non stop and staying in the bathroom for a lon time. The very next review said she was in a hurry to get things started and was all over him after a short bathroom break. The contradiction is not only evident , it's laughable to any one who reads reviews. Just today I saw an ad from a provider who was consistent in poor reviews. She was getting 5s and 6s almost every time. I checked her reviews AND the last bad review was immediately followed by a 10/10 from a reviewer, who was not only an unknown, but her review was his ONLY review. That caught my attention so I look at some of her other 10 reviews. Yup, you guessed it. Unknown reviewer with no other posting history AND she was her only review. I've seen the ads to buy reviews in the past and her recent " miracle " turn around make me think that it pays to read, and participate in the boards

To offset a new negative or low score review. I give the same answer to anyone who asks. Not gonna happen, sorry.

is wide swings in reviews. I really look hard at these & I'll probably pass.

The first review I ever gave was in response to a provider frantically asking me to counter a negative review she had just gotten. So I posted and gave her what I thought was a mostly positive review but said that I had to agree with some of the things the negative reviewer said, mostly about the accuracy of her pics. She emailed back and said I made the whole situation worse and could I ask TER to delete it. I did as she asked but told her to never contact me again. TER didn't delete the review but all of her reviews disappeared shortly thereafter.
I had two more experiences with reviews after that one, both of which had bad results of a different kind so I resolved I was done with reviewing.
