I think all providers should list their hours of availabilty.  I know that some of them do, but most of them just write "call me...I'm waiting!" Their ads are posted on a schedule (every few hours, three times a day,  once in the morning, or once late at night; it varies).  You never really know when they are available.  I just woke one up and she hung up on me.  Not the first time either.

So if she wrote on her ad that she's available 24/7, would you call at ungodly hours of the AM believing she's available right at that moment?  SMDH.

I'm not an idiot.  I never contact any of those 24/7 providers.  No one is available 24 hours a day.

You're cold calling woman you have never before met at 10:45pm? I thought it was standard practice to email the woman first with references and a preferred day and time in mind with enough lead time to work out your schedules?  

is not to call anyone (and I mean anyone not just providers) before 9am or after 9pm unless it is an emergency.  I get pretty pissed off if anyone calls me outside of these hours unless my house is on fire and I'm inside it.

sad that you actually have to explain this.   What happened to common sense?  Not even going to mention lack of courtesy.

There are a LOT of 24/7 agencies in almost any decent sized cities and there are night owl indies in most of them as well.

appointments a day or two in advance by email?  For those that like to wait until things are "urgent", i.e., you're driving down the street, look down, and notice you have an unexpected boner, you go to the CV ads which have a blue "available" icon with a time stamp so you can get that boner fixed within an hour or two.  There are providers that use this feature in the middle of the night, so that you don't have to disturb the ones that don't.  I rarely book same-day appointments, but on those occasions where my schedule opened up on short notice, the CV ads have never failed me.  Maybe not my first choice, but within two or three tries.  If you need an "urgent" appointment, the specific girl shouldn't matter that much.

I'm clear about my working time in all my ads, but guys call during 24hs. Not only when they're horny, also call from another countries and they never think about the different time between continents...

I have my hours listed and I also say "I need my beauty sleep between 11pm-7am so I do not respond to messages at this time"- I still wake up with a dozen "hey baby"s and "u available?"s, incoherent voicemails, missed calls, blank emails.  

but in any case, they also tend to have very variable hours.   So, to list some kind of regular hours could cause them to miss an opportunity.   They can always shut off their phone when they want.

I'll text/email at all hours, but I don't expect replies until business hours the next day.

an email address for contact info while some are requesting contact be made through P411. These providers only give out their cell number a day or two prior to a scheduled date.

I pursue a lot of civvie opportunities and my weeks never look the same. Therefore, I never list working hours. I prefer that you email me with your screening information and that you pass screening before I am able to confirm anything. That alone takes at least 12 hrs and I believe is pretty standard practice.
