Even us old fossilized bastards need to evolve and find a way to keep having fun. Switter, NordVPN and a proton mail account all have their learning curves, so it's taking a bit of time to become familiar with the new parameters.
I don't get to play very often, as I live in a "provider desert," and have to plan my fun well in advance. The nearest Big City is a 4 1/2 hour one-way drive for me, so I need to have things lined up weeks ahead of time. So if I can carve out 3 days of time, I can get in at least one set appointment and then have some time for improvisation. This still takes time for research and it's becoming increasingly difficult in the new environment.
Dude switter is so hard to navigate and figure out. How do you find providers and reviews. I am so spoiled by TER. What are your tips for switteris newbies?
Well there are no reviews presently on Switter and one of the issues over there is whether or not to have them. Unlike review sites like TER, Switter was created for providers and we mongers are there on the sidelines. Right now the site is very chaotic and I am learning it as I go too. But since I have been lurking over there I did set up 2 sessions already with ladies that I haven't seen before and if either of them had any reviews they are gone. So in a way I'm gonna TOFTT and afterwards I won't really have anyplace to share my thoughts about how it all went
Took a step back from the hobby because I'm spending money on modifications to my car. I'm also looking at twitter and hope the negative clouds over the providers clear up soon. Scary seeing providers tweet using words like "struggling, street walker, suicide". Girls are also complaining about having to deal with the "bottom feeders" that no longer have "bottom feeder website".
One more thing. FUCK every single POLTICIANs that caused this mess.
My hobbying has been shifting more and more to Latin America and elsewhere overseas, e.g. Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, etc. I enjoy hobbying overeseas more than I do in the U.S. for a variety of reasons that would be worthy of a whole separate thread, if not a whole book.
Suffice it to say that the loss of U.S. reviews now forces me to do even more of my mongering overseas. One of the few advantages of hobbying at home in the U.S. was the reviews; there are forums for overseas mongering with some reviews here and there, but nowhere near the consistency and volume of TER. For the most part, hobbying overseas is a crap shoot in that regard, and I appreciated the greater predictability and the motivation for good behavior that the reviews provided. Without the reviews, the only reason to hobby at home in the U.S. is because that is where I live.

I am bit a confused. Your previous reviews were from the DC area, and you have a Northern Virginia phone number on your profile. Your profile and website indicate that you are in Costa Rica, and your latest reviewer wrote that he met you in Costa Rica.
I understand that a lot of girls in the U.S. have been changing the locations on their profiles to foreign cities because of the blocking of reviews for U.S.-based providers, but did you actually return to Costa Rica because you are originally from there? Did you go back to Costa Rica because of FESTA/SOSTA?
If this FESTA/SOSTA businesses continues, perhaps moving overseas to a more hooker-friendly country would not be such a bad idea for many girls. As a hobbyist, I will definitely be spending more and more of my hobby budget overseas beacuse of this.
Short term goal is to build my library of references with local women I know are safe. I’m a guy who has certain interests in this hobby - but hopefully finding women who fulfill those interests will get easier once I’m more established.
