Have you seen the press reports, Vice initiatives,  and the massive crackdown in the hobby in Maryland ? People are not talking because their cases are pending in the judicial system.

100s of people have been busted since 8/1/2010.

Some guys have said no because they don't have the $3000-$10,000 set aside for a court case if they get busted for prostitution.

Guys don't want to give references, not sure if you remember the folks who got outed around the US and locally in dc region.

Also Maryland has many agencies to choose from. The agencies have many top quality providers.

The market became too saturated. Some of the providers had to cut their prices from $200/hour down to $150-$180/hour. The providers who charge $300/hour down to $220/hour.

Recent research indicates that quality local providers are back at the $300/hour range.

Notwithstanding political disagreement about the issue, a great many providers are environmentalists at heart and vote for pro-environment candidates when/if they vote.

It is highly important then, for providers to see hobbyists as supportive of these important matters.

All of these traveling providers are using gobs of jet-fuel at the expense of who knows how many millions of tons of carbon dioxide annually. They are taking gas-guzzling taxis, using precious electricity in hotels, eating out at restaurants that fly in food for 1000 miles at a whack and more. Overall, the environmental damage caused by traveling providers is likely incalculable.

This seems environmentally unsustainable and quite likely a cute baby polar bear is dying every day as a result of this practice. Can't you hear your mother earth crying for mercy?

So when a traveling lady informs you she won't be traveling to your area, don't argue. Just accept it with Zen-like calmness and do the math.

The math is that for the price of booking her you could likely book 2-3 local ladies and at least one of them would be every bit as good. Plus the local ladies wouldn't be using fossil fuels to fly to see you and booking taxi cabs. Local ladies are much more environmentally friendly.

Save the planet! Buy local! The cute cuddly polar bears will thank you!
