Posted to General and not 60 and Over because the guy who did this was only 31!  Hay! If you're 31 and think you already need ED meds, see a doctor! (Not a TER Dr, a real Dr.)

I know this is a small point in relation o the dangers of going blond, but I so appear on TER from time to time and have even spent considerable times answering personal questions (researching. anythings I wrote unless I was absolutely sure) making me I suppose a hater dr,. and I assure you I am also a "real" doctor.  I have my own stethoscope and everything.

I enjoy your posts and, although I can't recall anything specific, they always sounded reasonable and professional.

I don't know why that 31 yo guy was taking ED meds. I'm going to guess that if he DID get a genuine medical exam and DOES have a real health issue that he would have had a genuine Rx and bought genuine sildenifil, even if from a Canadian, but legit, pharmacy.  
.
Just a reminder to folks that the "organic" or "natural" herbal ED aids that you can buy at the Kwik-E-Mart checkout or nutrition stores are often spiked with illegal pharmaceuticals. So be careful with those, too.

I can even swear that he is a real doc because on one of our several dinner meetings, he offered to sign for the bill, but when he went to pull out a pen, he ended up pulling out a thermometer.   This led him to swear out:  "Damn, some asshole has my pen.".

 
True story, right doc?

I read a thread today on a regional board in the PNW that (again) is loaded with quackery -- "try this, I found it online" or "just go to this website and order a combination of horny goat weed, ginger and ashwaganda root -- it's all natural!"

Really, if y'all need an ED med, PLEASE talk to a licensed medical practitioner and follow their recommendations! Geez, would you take medical advice from a poon board about your heart condition? smh...

That doesn't mean I am going to go eat of pile of it thinking it will make my dick harder, longer, or that it will make me shoot a bigger load.

 
That said, I don't know if I am on board with the prevailing wisdom here that all ED meds need to be prescribed, especially for guys with no serious health issues. In many countries boner pills are available "over the counter" and even available in a few airport gift shops I can think of. If you have a heart condition or have other health issues than I think you should most definitely check with your doctor before taking ANYTHING stronger than an aspirin, but if I plan on fucking a dozen different women over a long weekend, I might take a tab of Cialis, break into thirds and take a third of the tab each day  over the course of the weekend to help with my "recovery time". I don't see any need to consult a doctor before doing this.

sensible arguments from the perspective of a responsible adult.  That's not the example that was in the OP.  It would have been nice to know HOW MUCH of the stuff he took to get this kind of reaction.  It also doesn't say if his boner lasted for a week or more after the overdose.  For some guys here, red vision might be an acceptable trade-off for the Mother Of All Boners.  Lol

Let's suppose this moron did get a prescription from an MD, just like the conventional wisdom of TER seems to agree is the only way to get or use bonor pills, so he gets a legal script and takes the entire script all at once, just like the moron he most is.  I don't see how this solution saves him from himself.

 
I have done all sorts of different kinds of drugs over the last several decades, both legal and illegal, (mainly illegal I will confess) and the one positive thing I can say about my experiences is that I have NEVER gone "blond" lol

A few years ago I could have taken that idea and run with it, right here on TER. The sad fact of the matter is that if EVERYONE still here on TER were to buy my product, I'd still be only selling "hundreds" of dollars in business.  

 
That said, it's still hardly the worst idea ever floated on this board. lol

1. He/she owns his/her own stethoscope
2. He/she owns one of those doohickies  that is round and reflective and fits on" your forehead, but has no idea how to use it
3. He/she is very careful to use "he/she" instead of he
4.Whe involved in BDSM, he/she is not into medical scenes for obvious reasons
5. He/she has actually met Mr. Fisher and even had dinner with him a dew times.
6 He/she hopes you have had your flu shot by this time of the year.

disagree with you on number 4.  I would think a real doctor could be bound in four point restraints and still be able to simply "talk" an experienced  Domme through a medical castration scene.

Mmmm, interesting but in my experience most real docs, at least those of the male persuasion, tend to want to hang on to (or perhaps I should say "keep"their testicles.Of coarsely samples size is small since I have only discussed this important issue with a very few docs and most of them were during at the time.
