It's always nice that you communicate before the session what you prefer us to wear: lingerie or not and what color.  It makes things easier for us.  But when I ask my clients on this, more often I get an answer "Whatever you feel comfortable. Surprise me!".  Well,  this "surprise me!" always crack me up!
