Will we ever be this liberated?

I was perusing the "New Reviews" for London and was surprised to see this website (see link). First, I thought, "OK, another massage parlor website."  But after closer examination, holy crap, this is a full-on brothel with really hot babes, explicit descriptions of their specialties and reviews linked into their pictorials - with no apparent concern for the "bobbies".  Hell, I was sporting wood just be reading the descriptions of their specialties and the reviews.

When are we, over here in the "colonies", gonna advance to the point where we realize this kind of establishment has a place in our society and needs to be out in the open?

Was there a recent(within 6 months) case in London in which a madame was arrested and went to trial? Made the front pages and was seemingly scandalous. Which makes me wonder about the legalities in the UK of a brothel. I could be wrong. Anyone else recall this? She was a finance student if memory serves.[EOM]

Wow- an american finally realizing what a fucking backward ass country we live in!   Euros go to church on average of somerthing like one and a half times a year- americans can say they belive the bible is literally history without being laughed off the stage!

Wake up people- we are not on the curve- we are behind the times!

when it comes to Europe, we are behind them in everything yet act pompous and arrogant that we are so above it all.

I own a lingerie business and yet when I show people the product line or website which I think is anywhere from elegant to risque, most people are embarrassed and don't even want to talk to me or about it. I've actually been judged as 'that type' BECAUSE of it! We're talking fucking lingerie here!

I didn't even tell them I have an adult toy business, too..

Pretty cool!! Similiar to Sheri's Ranch in Nevada. Thank GOD for Nevada!!

Probably will never (at least not in our life time) be as open here in the states because there are we are way too concerned about being politically correct. Too many people that are afraid of their sexuality, uncomfortable in their skin and their relationships. They hide behind the mask of religous beliefs and morality... when it all comes down to fear of the unknown.

They shut down an adult bookstore in in north county San Diego just last month (in Leukadia) because noone wanted it in their neighborhood. Why... because people are afraid our young adults might learn about condoms, vibrators and other sex toys. If these conservative asses maybe used some of the sex toys with their SO's, to improve their own sex lives, this would be much less of an issue!!

a life of prostitution is compromised from the start (by the law itself and nothing else) ... if-n-when it's legal and {self,govt}-regulated  all hobby subspecies (man, middle-man and woman) will prosper and thrive (throb with life)

it should come as no surprise then, that despite how ass-backwards our country is when it comes to sexualty,  we still produce the world's largest corpus of pornography?

As long as they don't bother anyone and keep a low profile, the 'bobbies' don't care. I spent a couple of hours chatting with some ladies in their flat one evening and they gave me the lowdown.
