I thought you were going to re-print your most famous work. You know, that one. I forget how it goes now, but I think it started off "There once was a lass from Nantucket...."
I really enjoyed your poem. two things in particular. This line, And autumns fire Will dampen Summer's glory (should I MLA cite?) Thats really really good. Well, my reading of the poem. An encounter with a work of art is an encounter with one's self. So I might have read this poem differently than you intended, but regardless I loved that line. The ejaculation from passion (autumn's fire) dampens (but fire doesn't dampen!) an already "furtile" (seeds of tomorrow) past, aka summer...but it is the future that changes the past in abstraction...so nothing is ever present in itself is it? Nothing is temporal. Very clever work. also very clever was this one Time is a memory Spun on gossamer Thread A winding story Awaiting the Omega
The Omega as in the Orgasm, but also omega means the end....so good. In french an orgasm is sometimes called le petit mort, meaning the little death. i'm a postmodernist...what can i say? whatever, I'm boring. but if you want to talk about your poem pm me!
Yes!!!! The omega is the end! All this time stuff going on, questioning contemporaniousness (heidegger taught me that word!), and contemplating the past and the future to understand the present which seems is not present in itself. I love it! errrrr, i'm a dork. i'm done
