The funny thing is, you ask what did I expect? Oh I don't know, honesty. I have asked this before and the provider told me, "no they are not my pics because of so and so." Whether that excuse has been not wanting to reveal her real pics because she is local, or a change in weight, hair or whatever. Then proceeded to send me her real photos. As i stated before, it's not so much about looks as it is about honesty. Heavens forbid a client ask for honestly though right???

While I usually agree with the likes of GaG and Jack, I'm with davinci in this one.
When reading his post it was obvious to me he was talking about some gal with a BP ad and no reviews. This takes a different approach. Sure the easy way is to only see reviewed ladies and do a lot of research and backchannel, but if no one ever took one for the team, there would be no reviewed girls.
I have been mongering for over 30 years, and have been on TER since 1999. Normally I do my research with reviews and backchanneling etc., and I would never approach a reviewed lady the way the OP did. However, occasionally A BP ad picture turns me on, and I consider TOFTT, and with no other info, but also no red flags, I have asked the same question. ("Are your pictures real?") I personally see no problem with that. Remember that all the "rules" we have engrained in us on TER, are not universally followed or even known by everyone in the industry. There are other approaches and different ways to do things, especially with new providers. I have met ladies like this, and then turned them on to TER, and P411, and proper screening etc.
Here is another thing none of you considered. If his question was so terrible, why did she have a conversation with him? She did not go "crickets" at the first text. They had a back and forth, and then she went crickets after he tried to make an appointment while telling her if the pics don't match he would leave. This tells me she was definitely using fake pictures and was hust hoping for the typical john to show up and then stay anyway. In this case he asked the perfect question, and he has his answer.
I hope he doesn't do that with established ladies, but I see no problem doing that with a new provider with really hot pics, on BP or similar sites.

I think the only reason she had a conversation at all with him was for the dubious pleasure of getting his hopes up just to be cut off at the knees. It seems to have worked as it bothered him enough to come here to whine about it.
Normally that has not been my first text, but a few times it has, though my text would be more like, "Hi. I saw your ad on BP. You peaked my interest, and I would be interested in setting something up. Your photos are really hot! Are they real? :/)"
Next text is usually something like, "sorry to ask that, but there are so many using fake photos on BP, I have to check.

I was torn between suggesting he word his introductory text, email in a similar manner to what you suggested or simply ridiculing him for his stupidity. Once I noticed he had over thirty reviews to his credit and was still asking newbie questions on the GD board the evil GaGambler took over and I decided since the OP was too stupid to be helped, I might as well have a bit of fun at his expense and it appears that everybody agreed he's not too bright judging by the other comments made on this thread.
Personally since it's you and me discussing this now. I would not have even questioned the legitimacy of her pics in my opening text/email. I would have first said "hello" and complimented her on her beauty before launching into an interrogation about their veracity. If you will notice, she plainly shows she was a bit miffed about his rather rude intro. His apology way too little too late and he proves just how clueless he is by acting surprised she broke off contact. I don't believe in "sucking up" or jumping through hoops, but it is true "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" and his first impression on her was far from a positive one. Go back and reread his OP, I am confident you'll reach the same conclusion
