Why some guys don't write reviews?

I'm wondering why it is some guys don't write reviews.  I understand guys who don't know about or read reviews.  And I understand married men who'd rather not join for discretion issues.  But guys who do read reviews (and aren't married or overly concerned with discretion), why don't they write reviews?

I'm asking you guys because I have a couple of regulars from Redbook who won't write a review for me.  I asked for the review.  One said okay but didn't write one and the other just kind of shrugged and looked away making it clear he probably wouldn't be writing one.

I don't want to pry or push my clients, so I don't ask them why they won't write a review.  But I am curious why someone wouldn't want to write one.

That's why I've come to you, my fine folks at TER who always have an answer for me. :)

Some people don't want to show less than perfect writing skills and then be thought of as not very smart?

Some don't want to participate, they have lurked on the edge for so long and have no want or need to "join in"?

Some feel the status quo is just fine, and to do anything different would cause a change which they don't want?

Some read and use boards like this to find the ones they want to be with, but don't care to get involved with anyone else, via writing anything?

Just a few guesses as to why, without someone who never writes reviews to jump up and talk about it, then it will always be a guess.

My reason for not writing reviews was that I didn't want to give my email address to a board like TER because it is my work email and I feared repercussions from doing so.

It wasn't until Bev told me that I could get a free annoyminous email address from a site like Yahoo that I was able to do so and avoid  unwanted entanglements

It never occurred to me that getting a free, let along annoyminous email address was possible.

Just in case that is the problem with any of your clients, be sure to make them aware of this.

It sure has made all the difference in my life.

By the way, I only figured out the whole cut and paste thing a few months ago.

One of these days I'm going to find out what all those F keys are for.

I can't answer that question but I will say this; without TER many of us wouldn't have the success ratio we do.  Reading the reviews minimizes the risks of seeing a less than enthusiastic provider, B & S, ROB, etc.

Now, if you would have listed your web link below your post I could have checked where you live and maybe we could get together.  I usually write a review for most every lady I see for the first time.  TER doesn't accept multiple reviews of the same lady for credit.

Why? I believe your guess would be as good as mine.  I can make long list of possible reasons, but they'll only be speculation on my part.

Anyways, TER is a valuable resource, so I try to contribute to our community whenever I can.

I write them, but they are general statements.  I try to concentrate more on the atmosphere and the interaction, which to me is much more important than how many times we did it K9 or what have you.   In particular with a provider I am fond of, writing about the juicy details just goes against my "don't kiss and tell" upbringing...

If you've ever written the first review of a new girl the process takes a long time.  If you're talking about porn star girls, like I normally review, that don't have an Eros or CityVibe ad page it can take weeks.

For example, I have two reviews, one in the "Deferred/Posted" state (for Veronica Rayne) and the other in the "Deferred/Other" state (for Davia Ardell) that I've been trying to get through the system for about a week now.  I am waiting to submit a review on porn star Brooke Banner, but I don't want to go to all the trouble if it's just going to get rejected.

After several rejections I contacted support but still no progress.  This is pretty typical for me, since most of the girls I review have only their regular Internet site (doesn't talk about their escort business), MySpace page (which TER seems to reject as a contact site), or are listed only through agencies (which TER seems to randomly accept or reject).

Bottom line:  it's damn hard and time consuming to submit reviews.  It's particularly demotivating when you regularly TOFTT and work hard to write reviews of new girls only to see those reviews rejected.

I TOFTT and see a girl with no reviews.  I go to the trouble to track down all the damn info to submit a review.  And it gets rejected.  After a while, why bother?  Maybe my problem is that I'm really trying to add value by submitting new and useful info.
